Ideally located in medina, in the district of mouassine, maybe the best district of the medina because close to souks, the place Jemaa el Fna and to the new city (gueliz). The house has 2 rooms with A/C and private bathroom.
A charming small house renovated in 2009 located in a very quiet and sure alley.
The house has a large lounge with kitchen, 2 rooms with A/C / heating with private bathrooms, and a roof terrace. The first room is on the ground floor and the second one on the roof terrace.
The kitchen is completely equipped and the lounge is also air-conditioned. The WIFI is of course available (and free).
House linen is provided.
The house is located at 5 minutes walk from Bab Laksour, the closest door of the medina and 5 minutes from place Jemmaa el Fna.
You can find a lot of shops, grocer's shops ....
I can organize your transfer from and to the aiport (15 euros/ 1 way).
It is also possible to park a vehicle at Bab Laksour.
Other Things to Note
As I'm not living in Marrakesh all year long, Aimad and Yassine will welcome you in my house and will give you all information you need so that you have an excellent stay. You can contact them if you need during your stay. You can also have on request a cleaning lady who can also cook special moroccan dishes for you.
The house is always rented entire (I mean you will not have have to share the house with other guest even if you rent my house just for one or two people.)
Ben was a very great host, the house was in perfect location, historical and near everything .. The house is very very cozy and relaxing .. The real moroccan authentic style with all the facilities.. We had very much fun staying there and they solved all our problems promptly .. I would definitely go back there again
What a beautiful charming house in the Medina. This house is absolutely fabulous. The house is as described. The photos are so real.
All communication with Ben beforehand was accurate and speedy.
We arrived at the Supratours coach station, traveling from Agadir. Ben the owner kindly arranged transport from there and the driver took us to meet Aimad who is a very kind and pleasant host, at Bab Laksour, which is the closest door of the medina. Aimad was waiting for us and he showed us the way to the charming house which was only about 5 minutes walk. You can only get there by walking as its alley ways which we loved.
Once we entered the house, we were so overwhelmed how nice it was. I did read the reviews beforehand, but seeing it for myself in real was awesome. The house was very clean and you can see a lot of work has gone into making it very comfortable for guests, with a Moroccan feel.
The house has two lovely bedrooms with their own bathrooms. I have never before slept on such comfortable beds on all my travels. Even the bath towels are soft and fluffy, not to mention very clean. The bedding are also very comfortable. Top marks for such comfortable amenities! I wish all accommodation owners will follow suit.
All rooms have air-conditioning/heating, so whatever the weather, you will feel comfortable and relaxed.
The middle floor also has a toilet and show area. The living/front room was nicely done, with an open plan kitchen. Again, excellent and lovely to be in. The roof terrace is also charming and so relaxed, a nice place to sit and take in the sun before you go out site-seeing. We did not use the kitchen as we ate out every day, as food was so cheap to eat out.
The house location was excellent, with walking distance to everywhere. No need for taxis. But taxis are so cheap, but just make sure you ask the driver to put the meter on.
On our last day, Ben had arranged the same driver to pick us up to take us to the airport. Again the driver was on time waiting for us, and drove us to the airport in his nice car. Aimad was at the apartment to see us off and collect the house key.
We highly recommend this beautiful charming house. You will really be happy there.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank Ben for allowing us to book this house and thanks to Aimad for being a nice host.
Thank you so much and keep up the good work.
This is a great house, and in a great location - close to the centre but also quiet and peaceful. The house had great facilities - including good wifi. We would definitely like to stay here again, next time we are in Marrakesh.
Perfect located. Super clean and charming decorated in the local Styles. The sleeping room on the rooftop was fantastic. Thank You, Ben for your hospitality - next time we will spend more time in your riad!
Prior to arriving Ben was brilliant - quick to respond to emails and with helpful information. He arranged for a driver to meet us at the airport and Aimed met us at the entrance to the Medina and after a quick and easy walk we found the house, via a local bureau de change which had an ok rate. The house is just how it looks in the pictures. Very well set up and with everything you might need. Lovely fluffy towels, spotless white bed linen and comfy beds. The location is excellent - in a quiet lane off the main streets but 5 minutes from all the action. We ate out a lot and there were some good restaurants close by. Just check it out on Tripadvisor. The bureau de change had an ok rate but did not take cards. There is an ATM in the main square if you need it. The WiFi was excellent.
Going home it was easy to phone Aimed or Yassine and we opted for a 'chariot' to carry all our shopping! The chariot driver arrived at the door on time and took us to meet the driver at the entrance to the Medina to take us to the airport. All very easy.
The four of us had a wonderful time in Marrakech, 28 degrees in February and all day of sun, what more can you wish for? The flat was as described, spacious for 4 people, the room on the ground floor can get a bit cold but thats probably rather an advantage later in the summer. Ben was helpful arranging airport transfers and one day our driver also took us to the Atlas mountain for a day trip.
Great experience in total!
We had a lovely weekend at this house - great location and perfect for 2 couples who want to relax and take forays into the Medina. We ate breakfasts on the roof garden in the sun and slept well in the quiet neighbourhood. Highly recommended.
