Looking forward to reading your message:)
I'm asking my guests to leave the apartment clean and tidy when they check-out. If some guests prefer not to clean the place and because I had one request rabout this, I'm now giving my guests the option to forget about the cleaning part for an additional 50 euros. But I much prefer making a bit less money and have my guests respect the premises.
Of course, towels and linen do not have to be washed by you:)
- Noise :
The apartment is in a residential building and some residents are old. So I'm asking my guests to be normally quiet inside the apartment (no very loud television nor very loud talks, and not to throw any kind of party). the same goes for the lobby of the building where people need to be quiet in order not to bother neighbours.
thank you very much !
Our family of 7 had a wonderful time here! Two pullout couches that can easily fit two each in the living room, and one double bed and one single bed in the separate bedroom fit the other 3. Location is great! Convenient access to the Metro and RER, and a short walk to the Seine. About a 25 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower through a picturesque park in the middle of the river. Area is beautiful, with local butchers, cheese and wine shops, in addition to a twice-a-week outdoor market. Very friendly neighborhood slightly outside of normal tourist hubs. People are happy to talk to you in French, although most (almost all) will speak English. Very different (and preferable for us) experience than staying in a heavily touristic neighborhood.
Very nice apartment, located in a cool area of town and only a 20-25 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower. A metro station is a 5 minute walk just down the street. Marc was a very gracious host and helped out with directions, etc. The place was just what we needed and came with all sheets, towels, toilet paper, and other basic amenities. Perfect for our 3-day trip to Paris.
Apartment was very clean and spacious for 7 of us. Marc was very helpful, responsible and super informative. Took his time to explain the things we need to know in the area, transport and etc (and he even compile those information in a file). The neighborhood is very safe and its just 5 mins walk to the nearest Metro.Thumbs up:)
Marc was a wonderful host and met us at the flat to show us around the apartment. He took the time to answer all our questions and gave us great recommendations for places to eat and advice about the Metro too. Marc's flat has everything we could have needed to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable, including a hair blow dryer (which is a big deal since the blow dryer we brought from home didn't work with the converter we brought.) The main room has two couches which convert into comfortable double beds. The room also has a table and four chairs, and a large closet with mirrors, but the best part was the double windows which stretched across the whole room. There was a kitchen with a stove, oven, sink, microwave, refrigerator and washer/dryer. Plenty of mugs, glasses, plates, flatware and utensils, as well as an electric teapot and coffee maker. The water closet was separate from the bathroom, which was very convenient for everyone. The main bedroom has a door for privacy and is quiet and comfortable, and has a bookshelf equipped with books to make your stay even more enjoyable. I only hope that we find ourselves back in Paris again someday so that we can ring up Marc to see if his flat is available!
A quick thanks to Marc.
Five of us stayed for the Paris Marathon.
Had a great time.
The flat is very convenient, clean and quiet.
Oh my gosh, this is an incredible apartment. So big for an apartment in Paris! So close to public transport and a very safe part of Paris. So nice to walk down the street to the train and be able to have the Eiffel Tower for your view! It was clean and warm. The lift is tiny but beats walking up stairs. There is a great range of patisserie shops, grocers etc. and an excellent frozen food shop called Picards right across the road! So cheap and great quality. Marc was an excellent host always happy to help. He stayed in contact with us eager to make our stay a wonderful one. And it was! Would stay again and would highly recommend you book here if you are looking for a great place to call home whilst you are holidaying in Paris.
Born in Paris 34 years ago, I'm currently an onand off translator enjoying travels, people, music (I'm a music reviewer and I play), books (especially History), languages (I speak French, English, Spanish, Russian and a very rusty German).
