Janet and Tony made me, my husband, and my parents feel incredibly welcome during our two-night stay. My parents were visiting from the South for my graduation in Boston, and I wanted to find them a place that didn't feel too overwhelming, but also gave us easy access to the city. This was also my parents' first experience with Airbnb, and Boston, and I desperately wanted to find something that would work for them and us as whole (graduation times can already be stressful).
Janet and Tony were able to comfortably house us, provide an amazing breakfast, which was varied to accommodate various breakfast needs/desires, and interact with us warmly during our time in and out of the house. Their interactions with us made my parents feel very comfortable in their home, and they raved at what a wonderful place it was to stay, including the location.
After we left on the last day, I received a message from Tony stating I had left behind a personal journal, and he offered to mail it to me so that we wouldn't have to travel back to their house. It arrived at my house two days later.
Thank you so much for everything, Janet and Tony!! Your home and family are wonderful.
Tony and Janet are the most generous and kind couple you can imagine. Their house is extraorinarily clean (much cleaner than my home), the bedroom and bathroom immaculate and bed comfortable. They are incredibly relaxed and welcoming and we felt like we were staying with good friends. The array of generous options for breakfast was the best we had encountered and Jan's homemade yoghurt is amazing. We will definitely visit them again when in Boston and could not recommend more highly the hosts, location and facilites to anyone. Who needs a fancy Boston hotel when you can have a home near vibrant Davis Square!
Tony and Janet are fantastic. They were not there when I arrived and I was able to let myself in, which was very convenient. Having never done an Airbnb stay before, I was a little nervous. However, I quickly learned there was no reason to be. I stayed at their home this weekend to visit my son at Tufts. They were gracious hosts, such nice people, every detail as to what you might need to stay was thought through, the house is impeccably clean, the room is very comfortable, very tastefully decorated (as was the rest of their home) and bathroom across the hall. It was perfect for my needs and right up the street from my son's dorm. I would highly recommend this location. It was great!
We spent two lovely days in Boston and stayed at Tony's and Janet'S place. Even if we booked private room in their house we had a feeling that we have whole place only for us. Tony and Janet are warm and pleasent persons and we will definitely stay again at their house if we visit Boston again.
This was our first AirBnB stay and we couldn't be happier with the process. We wanted to enjoy Boston with a local feel and Tony and Janet's was perfect. Janet was responsive to my questions. Transportation from the airport was fairly easy (and free) and there are plenty of local restaurants within 5-10 minutes walk. The accommodations are lovely and Tony and Janet make their home feel like a true Bed and Breakfast.
