This was my first airbnb experience and I cannot see how it could be any better! Tony and Janet were extraordinary hosts who made me feel welcome and safe from the very first moment. They communicated constantly and even came and rescued me when I was stuck on Harvard campus in a blizzard on the third day of my stay. They are two of the classiest people I have met and I enjoyed spending time with them and getting to know them.
Their house is beautiful and in a safe neighborhood. It is only a couple blocks from several places to eat and shop. Both the Red Line and MBTA Bus Stops are within reasonable walking distance.
The bedroom and bathroom are cozy and immaculate. The entire house is welcoming and warm.
As far as value, this is best place you could stay in the area!
When I arrived in Boston, the city was experiencing the coldest winter for the last 11 years, but I do feel warm in Tony and Jan'house. It is not just the house, but the warm hosts. Thanks for providing me such an unforgettable experience in Boston!
Tony and Janet was so welcome and friendly that we never met before!Me and my boyfriend stayed about two nights, nice experience in Boston! The house is big and clean, and our room is so comfortable! If you want to go visit Boston,Tony and Janet is your top decision,it's worthy!
Tony and Janet have a lovely home with a comfortable room for guests. Good breakfast options. Close to the T. I plan to stay again soon.
It was a wonderful introduction to Airbnb. Janet welcomed me and. Orientated me to the house and suburb. I was welcomed by tony later with great coffee
Really enjoyed myself - such beautiful home -spotless w/nicely restored historic details, fully functioning with modern upgrades heat/AC. Outdoor balcony n deck in common area , breakfast nook is a perfect sundrenched perch- there's also a patio deck which i didnt use since it was november -but looks great for warmer seasons- i was in for work so not too much time to explore the house, but lots of places to just relax and enjoy --Tony and Janet were very sweet hosts, easy to chat with and friendly without being intrusive, great breakfast options/healthy cereals and homemade granola - felt really comfortable in their home, walking distance to the T line (13min with luggage) and great beautiful neighborhood, plenty of restaurants and entertainment nearby, but the house is in quiet tree lined residential area, nicely situated on corner lot w sunny open exposure. The room has blackoutshades if u want to sleep in late (which I did). Its a walkup 2flights of stairs, which was fine for me but might be challenge for others) - i will certainly be back.
Our hosts were kind and friendly. They answered all of our questions about the house as well as the area. The home was clean, organized, and functional. The room and bathroom are new and the bathroom was comfortably large.
