This renovated cottage (built in 1940’s), blends old world charm with a contemporary touch. Situated on a big estate nestled between historic Norfolk trees in Voëlklip, a prestigious sought-after suburb in Hermanus, it is one of the best located holiday accommodation in the area – only a street crossing to Langbaai beach and within a kilometer of all popular beaches. It is also within short walking distance to a popular restaurant, grocery store, nature reserve and hiking trails.

The space
The cottage has 2 bedrooms, both with lovely views onto the garden. The Main bedroom has a King bed. The 2nd bedroom has a double bed. There is a cozy fireplace inside for winter and for summer days, a lovely private outside entertainment area at the back on a wooden deck with a big braai / fireplace and great views of the mountain.
The cottage still has all its original renovated floors, windows, doors and finishes from when it was built in 1942.

The cottage has a bathroom with a shower which is attached to the house, but the entrance of this bathroom is situated on the covered outside deck area right next to the back door. Please refer to the photos for better clarity. There is another guest toilet and wash basin on the inside of the cottage.

There is another self catering home - Norfolkden Beach house at the front of the estate, but the cottage is completely private and separate with its own entrance, parking, entertainment area and garden at the back. Both houses can be rented at the same time for large groups so feel free to check availability with us for both!

The cottage has its own private garden, parking and entertainment area at the back. Guests are welcome to relax on the front porch, just be aware that the front yard, although fenced for privacy, is partly shared with the self catering home next door. Thus, if you bring pets, please rather keep them in the cottage's own private enclosed backyard.
