Wow - you were brave to hit the water this Sept - it never really warmed up! It's a pleasure to host international visitors, and we're honoured to have met their expectations. Definitely let us know if you decide to come back again!

Thanks Kris for sharing your views. You are right that the bright stars - we are designated a dark sky community, meaning that there is no artificial light pollution and it is easy to have naked eye astronomy, although there is an astronomy hands-on evening at the Bruce Peninsula National Park once a week. We are amazed that you were able that you were able to fit so much into your short stay, and would love to have you come back to explore more.

Thanks Kris for reminding us of some important details - comfy bed, modern bathroom, and bug-tight - all things that we expect but take for granted some times! It was great to meet you as well, and we appreciate your perspective of our property.

Response from Janette & John:

Thanks Rajat! It was wonderful to meet you upon your arrival, especially as it is very rare for us to be present when the guests arrive. Having a few minutes with guests does help set our minds at ease that all will go well, and we are thankful that we were able to provide a relaxing environment for you. Please come again!

The onsite kayaks are actually not for guest use - the cottage handbook has been updated to mention this. Rentals are available in Tobermory at Thorncrest Outfitters, who will actually deliver and pickup kayaks. As well, although there is room for three couples, we only allow six people total, with no more than four being adults.

It was our pleasure to share our cottage with your family, Kimberly! It's nice that you were each able to make use of the available space and resources. Certainly, this has been a summer of board game playing weather! Come again!
