This waterfront cottage is a hidden gem and has everything you need for a perfect affordable vacation by the lake and located less than 3 miles from Boyne City. Private beach, comfortable beds, stocked kitchenette, washer/dryer, desk, wifi and fireplace! Its cozy, clean and comfortable without the high price of lakefront rental property.

Both bedrooms are located upstairs. One bedroom with a queen bed and the 2nd bedroom has a trundle bed. There is also a Queen sofa sleeper on main floor.

The space
This rental has lake access but there is no dock or boat hoist available out front but there are 2 marinas less than 1/2 mile down the street. It's perfect if you just want to bring a canoe or kayak or if you're in to just relaxing by the lake with a great view. The renters have a designated beach area with part sun/shade. A 10 minute drive to Boyne Mountain resort, 5 minute drive to downtown Boyne City. Great hiking, biking and boating area. Nice shops and restaurants very close by. Its a perfect central location to East Jordan, Petoskey and Charlexoix and an hour away from the Upper Peninsula and Mackinac Island.

Other things to note
This cottage has two small bedrooms. The second bedroom has a trundle bed so it may be a tight fit for for adults, but would be perfect for two adults and two children. There is also a sofa sleeper in living room on main floor.
Parking for one vehicle only, no boat trailers.
There is a road that separates house and lake.
Absolutely NO PETS ALLOWED.

Sit out on the deck at the Strand for an excellent meal and stunning views of the marina and lake Charlevoix. the Advance General store is just a short walk which offers typical convenience-store fare — staple groceries, beer, wine and liquor. Some deli sandwiches and pizza during peak months.
