We had a wonderful time at John's place. He had for our son an extra room . We shared our Guiness and Jameson with him at the kitchentable and we listened to his many stories. The accommodation was very very clean! We enjouyed the beautiful sceneries around his perfectly rebuilt place.

John is a very welcoming guest, full of interesting stories and (website hidden). The house is very clean and easy to find, the bedrooms are spacious and bright and decorated with nice touches.
Sea view is a nice bonus ;-)
We arrived really-really late at John's, which was our fault and he had all the right to be mad at us. But the way he "greeted" us and the tone he used was way below acceptable. He kept shouting and calling us 'fu**ing idiots' and 'c*nts' repeatedly. We were really scared of him, he sent us up to our room and told us to leave early in the morning. We slept about 5 hours with the door locked and left at 7am without even seeing him. This was a really shocking experience for all of us. We communicated with him before we got there, he told us it wouldn't be a problem if we got there at midnight, but then we got lost and only got there at 12:45. He never once tried to contact us, to ask where we were, the shouting was really a surprise for us. He was nowhere close to being a hippie as he advertised.
This was a terrible experience for all of us and he managed to ruin our day.
The text I have on my phone states clearly 11.30 as arrival time, I did,nt have sufficient credit on my phone to call a Hungarian (website hidden) was 1 am when they arrived ,as I,d been trying to contact Airbnb emergency number, about the situation,I,m not used to allowing complete strangers in to my home, which is very remote,at that time of the night.
