Great house. very spacious and comfortable room. Great location with fab views over Ballyheighue. Perfect for anyone looking for a relaxing few days away and plenty of strolls along a beautiful stretch of beach. John was more than helpful to ensure we got there ok.
John was responsive when we got lost on the way to his house and helped guide us in the right direction. He welcomed us in for tea and we chatted that evening. He was obviously interested in getting to know us and wanted to share his experiences with us as well. The rooms were beautifully decorated from his travels. He also provided suggestions for ways to enjoy Kerry and get the most from our time there.
Za nočitev pri prijaznem gospodu Johnu smo se, štirje prijatelji, odločili le en dan prej in bilo je super. Gospod John je za nas pripravil, prostorni, lepi in čisti sobi. Najlepša hvala, gospod John.
John was a very friendly and welcoming host. His house is nicely furnished with a cost front room to gather and chat in. His place is a little remote, but a lovely and quiet beach is nearby. It has to be said that John was on hand to help us find his place every steps of the way. John very kindly saw to helping entertain our children which made our visit feel that bit more like home. Conversation with John is a very interesting I found he has so many great tales to tell. Would love to come back one day. All the best.
We had a very short but pleasant stay in John’s house. John is a very kind host and the house itself reflects his passion for travelling. The rooms are warm and nicely decorated (for example, in our room everything was brought from India). Also, John gave us some good advice regarding our further route.
We had some minor issues with finding the house as we arrived late and there was barely any light in the village. The coordinate on map did not correspond to precise location of the house. Moreover, since John has several phone numbers, we didn’t connect with him at once. Though in the end John gave us precise directions and everything was fine.
In the morning we could see that the house is situated on the hill and there is a stunning view of the village and ocean coast.
John was very flexible and welcoming, especially when we were unsure when we would arrive. He was very knowledgeable about the local area, and recommended good places for us to visit.
Thanks very much!
