Description

The Space

Looking for a truly unique space, in the Heart of the lively Mission District. This converted livery stable, now a modern rustic living space, is perfect for anyone wanting a little sanctuary to come home to after a day in the busy city. This loft/cottage is nestled in a quiet sun-drenched garden with jasmine vines, tree ferns, orchids, and Japanese maples. The cottage gets lots of morning sun and has a view of the garden, where you can enjoy your morning tea or coffee.

The apartment is ideal for those on temporary assignment, contract professionals wanting a short-term home base, singles, friends or couples on vacation, wedding guests, and visiting parents, the cottage is perfect for anyone wanting a unique San Francisco experience.

Right outside the cottage there are a wide selection of restaurants, wine bars, cafes, great nightlife, boutique shopping, grocery stores, book shops, yoga studios, and Mission Cliffs-climbing gym. Within walking to Dolores Park, Bernal Hill, Valencia Street, and Noe Valley.

BART (the underground) is a quick 10 min walk to Mission and 24th Street. This is the fastest way to get to all the Downtown locations and sites, including, Civic Center, Powell and Market street where the trolly cars pick up, The Embarcadero and Ferry Building and Fisherman’s wharf.
The BART also takes you to SFO, Oakland airport, and Berkeley.
Many Bus lines are right off 24th street next to the cottage: 12 Folsom, 48 24th Street, 27 Bryant, and Many other buses at Mission and 24th street.
The(SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN)company shuttle picks up close by on 24th street.
Taxis are available 24/7.
If you have a car there is parking in the neighborhood on Harrison Street.

The loft is on historic Balmy alley off 24th Street. Balmy alley is known for its murals painted on the buildings lining the brick tiled street. The 800 square foot loft is airy and spacious with lots of natural light. The 22 foot ceiling and custom 9ft mahogany and glass French doors add a unique character to this little cottage. Polished concrete floors with throw rugs downstairs and recycled wood floors upstairs in the bedroom/loft give the place a natural "modern rustic" feel.

Geo and I are Hosts thru Airbnb. We love to travel and see the world not as tourists but from a local's perspective. Being a host thru Airbnb has been a rewarding and amazing experience. We have two very unique spaces in the heart of San Francisco's Mission district. We are really enjoying sharing our knowledge with others visiting this amazing city. We have meet so many wonderful people, from all over, and really enjoy helping others experience SF as a true local would.

We are also both very considerate and respectful and therefore would take wonderful care of whom ever's home we are invited to stay in. I am a foodie and work for Omnivore Salt and Geo is a visual artist and musician. Check out his New Company Gildaxe.
