Wander is a memorable, renovated, original 1969 A-frame cabin tucked away on a 1/3 acre of land filled with old-growth trees located 20 minutes from the edge of the Mt. Baker National Forest. The property backs up onto public land that connects to the wild Columbia Basin. Wander is a cozy getaway for couples, with a queen bed tucked into the upper story. For groups, there are two snug twin beds and a comfy full-sized sofa bed. Wander sleeps 4 comfortably with an expansive deck for tents.

The cabin is located in a rural neighborhood, set back from the quiet road by a short winding driveway, located on 1/3 acre on a quiet street. The back of the property backs up to open wilderness.
Minutes to hiking, the Bay to Baker Trail, fly fishing, rafting, and of course world-class snowboarding and skiing, Wander is 20-30 minutes to the edge of the Mt. Baker Forest and 45-60 minutes to the Mt. Baker Ski Area. The cabin is 20 minutes from the Canadian border Sumas crossing, and 30 minutes from laid-back Bellingham.
The Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest is one of the most visited forests in the country. Located on the west side of the Cascades between the Canadian border and Mt. Rainier National Park, you will find glacier-covered peaks, spectacular mountain meadows, and old-growth forests rich in history and outdoor opportunities.
There is fresh coffee to welcome you each morning, along with cream and a selection of teas. Wander is stocked with all of your cooking and baking utensils and pans, plus organic olive oil and select spices.

The cabin sleeps four comfortably but can accommodate six. Price includes four people, $20 extra per overnight guest including tent camping. Please send a pre-booking message for booking over four.
You may use the laundry room.
There are 3-7 logs for the wood-burning stove, kindling, and paper. More logs are available adjacent to the cabin.
