The flat's owners - an American and a Brit - really love the neighbourhood and want to share some of that love with any guests who are looking for a home that has plenty of character and charisma, as well as being a cosy, comfortable place to chill out.
The flat if actually a two-bedroom flat which is being rented as a one-bedroom. We use the second bedroom as an office/storage space which is not included in the rental. You will have full access to the main living space, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. We'd like to keep the 2nd room as a private staging space that we will use to serve your stay even better!
Interaction with guests
One of us will likely welcome you at the flat to had over the give and to explain some of its eccentricities. Then we'll leave you to it! But one of us will always be in London, easy to find on a mobile phone in case you need us.
House guests shouldn't smoke indoors but ashtrays are provided for smoking on the balcony.
Hi there future houseguest! I'm an American living in London, and I travel a lot for work and for fun. I am an avid reader and cyclist; I enjoy staying in and cooking and we also love going to the movies, including the slightly leftfield Rich Mix at the top of Brick Lane, nearby.
We've lived here for a couple of years and we love the neighbourhood with its mix of traditional British street life and the fashion frenzy of Hoxton and Shoreditch. Last time we used Airbnb was on an impulse getaway to Paris - we found a great rooftop apartment. We know that people like us - who enjoy city life and a bit of style - will feel at home in our falt, which has been designed to be practical and comfortable in equal measure.
