  • I stayed for 6 nights. Overall - a great value! Steven and his partner were nice and warm hosts. Steven even drove me to the airport on my last day. I didn't use the kitchen much, but it seems well equiped. The room was comfortable and the private showe/toilet was very clean and spatious. The location was not ideal for my downtown conference at the Galt House Hotel (25 min walk / short bus ride) but the price difference was worth it. The appartment is within comfortable distance to nice restaurants and bars. I will definetly stay here again if I return to Louisville.

  • My experience in Steven's condo in Louisville was an exemplary experience with a superb host. Located in a neighborhood near downtown Louisville, an easy drive to the major hotels and restaurants and the Actor's Theater. The bedroom and bath were immaculately clean with access to the kitchen and common areas. What made the experience so lovely was the warmth and experience of the host who was able to provide great recommendations for dining and Louisville experiences. The first night in, Steven was able to recommend a wonderful restaurant called Marketplace which was a delight. It was too cold to spend out on the balcony but I suspect in late Spring or summer it would be a wonderful space to hang out. I would recommend the space enthusiastically with no reservation. Louisville is a terrific smaller city with great neighborhoods nearby and great breakfast and dinner venues. Of note is the Humana festival at the Actor's Theater which I strongly recommend.

  • Steven was very accommodating and kind. His place was very clean and comfortable. It's an easy walk of a few blocks to the heart of downtown Louisville to see shows or dine. This was a great spot for our first Air BnB experience!

  • We don't know where to begin. Steven is beyond anything we could ask for in a host. This was the first time we stayed in a "private room" in a shared apt and it felt more like we were staying with old friends. If we needed Steven, he was there, but for the most part, we had the place to ourselves. The private, clean and big bathroom was a HUGE plus to the huge and comfy room. my husband would like me to mention the amazing water pressure. The location to downtown Louisville and to other nearby "hotspot" neighborhoods, couldn't be beat. In the morning we took a 1 mile walk straight downtown with our dogs to grab coffee at Sunergos (amazing coffee by the way!!) There was always a close by parking spot (which was important for us unloading a lot of stuff for us and our dogs). Also, the kindness shown to us & our dogs was unbeatable. Finding hosts that were welcoming to us and our "furry children" was important but we had no idea how accommodating people could be until our stay here. On our final night there, Steven brought home a large cake from work to share with us. He must know our sweet spot :) We look forward to visiting Louisville again and we wouldn't stay anywhere else!

  • I appreciated Steven's hospitality in sharing his spacious condo in downtown Louisville, a city filled with interesting architecture. He was a gracious host, pointing out the Marketplace Restaurant, which has excellent food and wine, near the famous Brown Hotel. Thank you, Steven.

  • I found this home to be top notch and extremely comfortable. The location is great, with easy access to all that downtown Louisville has to offer.
The home is very clean, evidence that the homeowner takes great pride in his property!
If ever in the area and need a place to stay that tops a hotel stay, consider this rental, you won't be disappointed!

  • Steven was an awesome host. Everything was clean and comfortable - even offered to give us a ride twice, since were were carless! But we were able to walk the 2 miles or so to the Main St district where our conference was. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you Steven!

  • Steven was great! I had a conference in Louisville and the hotel was sold out for the last night. Steven swept in and saved the day! His place was available and he was extremely accommodating and so nice. He picked me up and dropped me off at the hotel for the conference the next day. His condo was very comfortable and he made me feel completely at home. I'll be sure to hold on to Steven's info if I ever find myself in Louisville again :)

  • I can't even begin to describe what a great stay I had at Stevens. A lot of places on Airbnb are amazing, but usually they are just a place to stay, with not much else involved. However, Stevens is like a 5 star hotel. Every night Melvin made dinner I was invited to join, and if I was out or had already eaten they would save some for me in the fridge. They even handled two loads of laundry for me! You don't get that kind of stuff at any regular hotel. Also, if your a person who loves having a big bathroom to yourself, you get it here. There is a deck with a grill, secure entry and exit, and a grocery store a few blocks away. If Steven and Melvin have the calendar days open, don't hesitate, BOOK IT!!
