If you are looking for a relaxing getaway with your friends, where you can surf or just chill on the beach all day long, then you should take some time off to look at this listing!
Balian Beach is a great beach if you want to get away from the crowds. Very peaceful but also quite unique surroundings. You will not get hassled on this beautiful beach as there is no vendor 's trying to sell you things. Just a few cute restaurants right on the beach that offers both local and western food. There are a few of them that have WiFi.
This beautiful villa is situated in the tranquil Balian Beach Bali - a great location with only 150 meters from the surf! Its a fantastic chill house as there are more daybeds than people, as well as a yoga and massage space overlooking the gardens. Your room consists of a lovely master suite (see pictures above). Linen and bedclothes will be provided for you as well. There is A.C in the Master suite, in the living suite is a flat screen t.v with dvd player with 2 single beds that can be turned into one big bed or lounge.

Jenny was very helpful with plenty of regular emails, even though she was in Australia at the time. The house is as quirky as it looks. Great for a large group or family with older kids. Possibly not suitable for very young children or older people. Kadek the lady that looks after the property was lovely and our kids fell in love with the dog who came everywhere with us during our stay. The Roster(s) wake up call in the morning was probably the one thing we never really got used to. Location was fantastic with the house just a 2-5min walk to the beach and local restaurants.
Unfortunately, the villa was not what we had hoped. Despite cleaning fee be asked is it really really dirty. The hygenie is far to look for. Furthermore they were building next to the House what caused a lot of noise. You could not understand each other. The villa manager hardly speaks English so we could not understood here. There was no fresh water to drink and old food in the fridge. There was no manual or something so everything was pretty unclear.
I would have to agree on the unfortunate part, as we have never experienced a guest such as yourself. Your comments about the dirty house is just not true, we had a professional AIRBNB photographer at the house that was taking pictures that same day that can clarify that the house was indeed clean. You disrespected my staff that could just not make you happy, got you fresh water, (you checked in hours early so it had not arrived yet) rented you a bike that you left with out paying for. The "old food in the fridge" was eggs and bread for your breakfast in the morning, clearly you are a hard person to satisfy. My staff called me in tears. Not to mention you hit my dog with a stick. I wanted to surprise you with our brand new swimming pool and thought you would be happy as it was not posted yet on airbnb, instead you complained about our pool furniture. We have never in our years of hosting experienced such a ungrateful disrespectful guest.
Air bnb is not a 5 star hotel site, maybe thats what you were expecting. It's a site where people post their homes that they are proud of and share with others. Im sorry we disappointed you, how ever you should maybe consider your outrageous expectations of the places you find on Air bnb before booking it.
Jennifer is great. Very welcoming, caring and easy going. The house is great. You get a lot of space and it is 2 minutes walk from the beach. It is a great place to stay for a group of friends or a family. The village in which it is located has nice restaurants and cafes. If you want to go sightseeing or visit other place you will need transport though (car or moped). When we arrived there was food, beer and fruits in the fridge. Jenny even prepared refreshing coconuts, lovely! All facilities are provided, cooker, fridge, freezer, TV, DVD, A/C, cleaner,... very homy. The house is surrounded by 'jungle' so you can hear frogs, geckos and cicadas. There are also quite a few chickens which will get you out of bed early (early!) We only stayed for 2 nights so we didn't really mind the crowing of cocks in the morning. If you're planning to stay for longer and hope to have a lie in you may want to keep this in mind. Otherwise, we can definitely recommend this place. Thanks Jenny!
The house itself was great, albeit a little dark, and the main bedroom is pretty close to a bunch of chickens - very noisy early in the morning, but it's close to the beach. It's probably also better suited for a bunch of friends to stay together. Kadek was extremely helpful.
Balian is a very small, but lovely town, and the people are very friendly. Don't be caught out without cash like we did - nearest ATM is an hour and a half away.
We went at the wrong time of year as a lot of debris washed up through the river, making it impossible to swim in the ocean.
Jenny was very prompt in replying to my requests re transport and very flexible re dates when I needed to change them. The villa is like the pics in a beautiful part of Bali, village-like with unspoilt surroundings. The villa has lots of space for lounging and relaxing with a well equipped kitchen and amenities. It has the relaxed feel of a happy home. I loved my stay at Jenny's with her helpful and happy staff. Thank you, Lisa
Jennys place had a great location and a very sweet house manager. Its a great place if you are into surfing! You need a scooter or car, since you are far from everything. Its not very childfriendly if you are traveling with very Young children/baby. The mosqitu net had a many big wholes, not so nice when traveling with a baby and one of the beds where in the kitchen/ livingroom. Bring earplogs - there are many noisy roosters. The house is nice and clean. And the house dog is very sweet!
we stayed there for seven nights. it's a wonderful place between the palms and just a short walk away from the lovely balian beach where we had a lot of fun while surfing.
the house has all what you need to relaxing your body and mind. the houskeeper kadek helped us a lot to organise some sightseeings and also drivers.
it was clean and we felt safety.
