  • Catherine is a very social host, who owns a lovely house. Our room was very spacious, as was the kitchen and the dining room. We even got our own fridge. To cut long story short, we enjoyed our stay in Montagu Bay.

  • My husband and I enjoyed every single moment with Catherine and her son Daniel. Quiet, spacious, clean and conveniently located, I have no hesitation recommending Catherine's Montagu Bay unit to anyone travelling to Hobart, Tasmania.

  • We had a very great time with Catherine, who is definitely a warm and considerate host. Everything is perfect, the house is large and lovely. We got a cozy bed(actually is two) and large cupboard in a clean, bright room. We cooked some delicious meal by using the open kitchen , we also got fresh milk, oat, egg, yogurt, juice and condiment etc. Catherine is very nice and helpful, we love to talk with her and her son Daniel. Also we do love the cat! We highly recommend this stay.

  • Catherine was a great host. Her Montagu Bay space was very private, clean, spacious, comfortable and quiet. The shared bathroom was not an issue either. Catherine's home was warm and comfortable and felt very much like home. Catherine even gave my husband and me a ride to downtown Hobart and best of all she took us to the top of Mt. Wellington voluntarily. This was a wonderful surprise. Her space is located just across the bridge with easy to use public transportation. It is also walkable. We would definitely recommend this space to others traveling to Hobart. The pictures are a real reflection of the space as well.

  • Catherine is a terrific hostess, and the "just-over-the-bridge" location ensures a good night's sleep!
We used public bus lines ($3 one-way or $6 max per day!and runs into 1am) - and paid to boat around Tasman Island, to bus atop Mt Wellington, and visit Richmond, as well as dining well at the Drunken Admiral restaurant -- and even busked a Sunday at the Salamanca Market - in a 5 night visit to Hobart - always glad to return to Catherine's for a good night's rest!
Catherine even drove us back to the airport when we departed! Hobart hospitality at its very best!

She was very nice and helpfull. She brought us to Hobart centre.
When we came back after a day visiting Hobart and the museum Mona, she was there for us and offered fruit, it was again very cosy. She offered us a very healty breakfast and we enjoyed it.
The last day we had a wunderfull walk on the seaside.
We really enjoyed our stay with Catharine and we recomend a stay in here cosy home.

  • We had a lovely stay with Catherine and Danial in their beautiful home.
Catherine is a beautiful and gracious lady and was very attentive to make our stay perfect. Our room was very comfortable and the overall facilities were extremely adequate. The view from the home over the river is stunning and plenty of walking along the river side
within a short distance. Plenty of eateries nearby and we would have no hesitation in a future stay with Catherine.

  • Catherine was lovely, and we met her beautiful family too. Our daughter was sick during our visit, so we ended up being stuck at home instead of visiting Hobart, but as an added bonus, Catherine is an energy healer and was able to give me and my daughter a consultation that really helped us heal. The room was great, the bed comfortable and close to transportation, close to the city. Also walking distance to local shops. Highly recommend.
