Jaschar was good at keeping in contact prior to our booking and the photos represent the space well. The night before we were due to check in Jaschar told us that we couldn't check in until 7pm as he would be at work, this differed from the 2pm check in time on the listing meanin…
Response from Jaschar:
Hi all, as this review is not only harsh, but also states untruths, I feel obliged to respond to it, just so I don't come across like the host this review makes me look like. * We mutually agreed on the check-in time, and Amy didn't inquire, whether we could do it earlier. Otherwise I would have offered her to pick up the keys at my work place. * The key handover was indeed quite rushed, but that was due to the fact that Amy and her brother got in later than 7pm and my travel friends were waiting for me at 7:30pm in front of my house. Yet I did a (-n almost complete) run through - though I do admit, I missed the oven. * Amy never messaged me about the oven, but she did try to message my mom who was also there and gladly gave them her number for emergencies. Unfortunately she mistyped one digit :-( as I figured out with Amy today. * The kitchen was freshly cleaned prior to their arrival - though I again I have to admit I DID forget cleaning the oven, and thus remove the pan from it. Clearly my bad. * The kitchen is indeed well-equipped with pans and knives and anything you might need for cooking. I even invited my guests to use my herbs and basics. * the shower is fully functional, though I admit you cannot adjust the shower head's height. You can take it off though. * I never had wifi listed for this apartment ever, as I don't have wifi. Amy claiming I included wifi in my listing makes me look very bad unfortunately. I believe in complete honesty, as this is the only way to keep your guests happy and maintain a history of positive feedback (which is actually the case outside of Amy's). As Amy correctly stated I offered her access to my neighbour's wifi, but added that it's slow, upon which she declined. * Lastly I had cleaned the apartment the day before (except for the oven) and find it strange that Amy claims otherwise - especially in the light of the fact the she and her brother left the place messy. Apparently they never took off their shoes inside, not even on rainy days. Frown town. I'm not going to start a rant here though, just wanted to rectify some things. If you have any questions, fire away :-)
