Our AirBnB is a family project. Please use our things gently.

Cell service is available; AT&T seems to have the best coverage in the area. Roku TV, WiFi and a charging station are provided. Bring your own devices and connection cords (HDMI, USB, Ethernet, component, game consoles, etc), or connect to the TV via Bluetooth. Roku TV instructions are in the printed Guidebook.
An Internet speed test taken over wifi from outside the front door on a Saturday at 2:15pm: 49.4 Mpbs download; 10.3 Mpbs upload. The internet connection is fast and should handle multiple devices streaming HD videos at the same time. The router is located by the TV in the living room.

One of my favorite features at the Cedar Waxwing Cabin is the spacious balcony with hot tub and patio furniture overlooking the large private yard and forest edges, from which you can watch wildlife go about their day. It's important to know the hot tub is cleaned after every check-out.

Keyless entry to help you come and go with ease.

Natural light fills the house as long as the sun shines. Each room has an A/C window unit, baseboard heating, ceiling fan, a nightlight, new flooring, and retro wall paneling.

You'll enter into the kitchen to find it complete with appliances and wares, amenities and essentials, cabinets you'll want to peek into, and plenty of counter space. Safe, clean city water is on tap. A coffee drip pot, Maxwell House coffee, sugar and creamer are provided. You'll find cleaning supplies in the broom closet.

The dining room table seats 6.

A closet laundry with a washer and dryer, detergent, dryer sheets, an iron, and a rod for hanging delicates to dry, and an ironing board.

In the living room, get cozy on the pillow back sofa and loveseat to play a board game, watch TV, laugh with friends, or snooze. A few games are in the coat closet. When you need to get a little work done, the console table is your spot. There you'll find the usb charging station, area things-to-do, and our guest book - leave a note for us to adore and other guests to enjoy... where are you from? what was your favorite part of your trip? what do you recommend to other guests?

Down the hall you'll find closets with bath linens, a hamper, emergency items, and other odds and ends. Feel free to look inside every door that opens.

In both bathrooms, we've provided a hairdryer, make-up removers, shampoo, body wash, moisturizer, lint roller, and hand soap.

Each bedroom is furnished and has a walk-in closet, pillows, linens, a bed spread, and a plush blanket set aside for those times you want a little extra snuggle in your cozy. All used bedding is laundered after each check-out (do not reshelve used blankets).

A double-bed room, a day bed twin-trundle room, and a king room with a private bath.

Enjoy the spacious and private yards. We've provided a stone campfire ring. Buy firewood locally or from us. Bring your grill, camp chairs, roasting sticks, and yard games.

The Ceder Waxwing Cabin is named after the Cedar Waxwing bird. Silky, shiny and sleek, the bird is hues of brown and gray, with a black mask and accents of yellow and red. Watch for them year-round in the tree tops surrounding the cabin.

*Do Not enter the attic or the basement - they are unfinished areas.

Guest access
Guests have access to the entire cabin with exception of the unfinished attic, unfinished basement, and a locked storage closet.

Other things to note
Guest Book: Leave a note for us to adore and for future guests to enjoy! Mention where you’re from, your favorite part of your trip, and anything you recommend to other guests to try while they visit. Find the Guest Book on the console table in the living room.

Do not cross barbed wire fences or open gates that are closed. A horse named Sue is in an adjacent field. She isn’t ours. Sue is usually really friendly; if you see her, treat her with careful and gentle respect.

Check-out Instructions are here in the House Manual and on the refrigerator.
