Completely updated 5 bed/2 bath cottage with a huge backyard! (plus a pond!) . Bright & sunny. All the charm you could want in the country but in the city! Seriously best of both worlds!
Completely updated 5 bed/2.5 bath sfh on extra long lot. Big backyard, with a wrap around porch, with a little eating area, neat koi pond and firepit. Bright & sunny historic cottage with 13ft high ceilings. Separate dining room. Hardwood floors throughout.
Downstairs sleeps 6, two guests room, nice west elm convertible couch and premium air mattress (even has headrest! :)) There is a full bath on the first floor, although the shower/bath is a claw foot tub and if you are taller then 5'10" you might have an easier time showering upstairs (I don't think people were very tall in 1865 :))
Upstairs has HUGE master suit. Includes a wood burning fireplace (great for cold nights). Another guest room upstairs and is quite spacious. There are 4 beds upstairs as well. Two queens in the master, and two Fulls in the guest. Sleeping 8 comfortably. There is a full bath in the main hallway with a jacuzzi/shower.
And to top it all off when you rent you have access to the garage which is in back. Parking is included. Also street parking is usually pretty attainable.
This really is a great option weather your looking for a nice retreat or simply looking for a place for everyone to centrally locate when you guys head out for the day.
Guests will have access to the entire house and backyard, garage.
I try to be as interactive and as helpful to airbnber's as possible. This has basically become my full time job...I love it. I love meeting new people, I love trying to help people plan there days and discover new things about the city. I LOVE Chicago, and I love when I can help people guests discover some of what she has to offer.
Ravenswood is really a dynamic neighborhood. You are within walking distance of wrigley field, amazing boutiques and restaurants and my favorite a gourmet grocery store that literally just went up three blocks down the street.
Also on the the map is showing that the address is in Uptown, not exactly sure how Airbnb is coming up with that one, but all of us who live here consider it Ravenswood. You are within walking distance of Lincoln Square, Andersonville, Wrigleyville(the farthest at about 1.5 miles) depending on where your going...but there is a TON to discover around here with a walkability score of 88.
It's really easy. You don't need a car!

This is a great place if you have a bigger group or you are in for a bit of a longer stay. Also really an ideal location for family.
Basically my only major 'rules' are please no-smoking in house. I provide a spot right outside with chair and ashtray. Think That's really about it.
The reservation was canceled 2 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Jen's house is very cutely decorated and adequately appointed with all of the details you might need for a trip to Chicago. It was perfectly located for our purposes, close to other family we were visiting. In addition, the train and grocery shopping were VERY close, making things very convenient for us. The home is old, so there are the usual quirks that go along with an old home, like uneven floors and narrow staircases, etc., but that all added to the charm of the place.
My friends and I loved staying at Jen's house. It was clean and perfect for our group. The kitchen was stocked with dishes and new appliances. The bedrooms were spacious and the bedding was very comfortable. The TV is small if you are looking to watch tv during your stay. The parking spot is in a covered garage. Great host!
The owner met us at the home and showed us everything about the house. It is in a nice location in north Chicago. We were able to share the home with 3 family and have plenty of room to move around. There is off street parking in a garage which was wonderful. She had food and snacks available.
This house is a great place to spend the weekend and enjoy the Chicago experience.
Great weekend, the house fit our needs perfectly. About a 10 min cab ride to anywhere, our host was very friendly as well. I would definitely use this house again and recommend it for others as well.
Awesome place close to everything in a beautiful house with everything we needed.
Great location and easy to follow instructions. House has a few quirks but Jennifer left clear notes. We were only there for a short stay but would re book for sure.
