Hot spots such as Z'Tejas, 24 Diner, and the flagship Whole Foods market are only a few blocks away with the University of Texas just to the north.This downtown location has a neighborhood feel in a quiet setting with gorgeous trees and landscaping. The condo features beautiful hardwood floors in the two living areas and in the kitchen, which has stainless steel appliances and a skylight overhead. Each bedroom has a plush queen-size bed and its own full-size bathroom. All towels and linens are provided and there is an in-unit washer/dryer. The living room has a 52” HD LCD TV with cable, movie packages, a DVD player and an XBox for use. WiFi is included and there are digital speakers that can be hooked up to any WiFi-enabled device for listening to music. There is a balcony patio and ample off-street parking.Access to the North and South is easy via the MoPac Expressway a mile away. The condo is within walking/biking distance to just about everything in downtown Austin including famous spots like La Condessa, Lambert's BBQ, Hut's Burgers and the 6th and Congress area. A quick trip through the downtown entertainment districts will take you to the bars of Rainey Street and just south of the river are even more local-favorite hangout spots on South Congress and South First Street. This is my second time staying at Paul's place during SXSW. And its even better than the last time! He did some great improvements to the space that opened it up. The location is great (walking distance to downtown) and its also near Wholefoods which is really helpful for me. The beds are comfy and there is plenty of space for a crew of 3. There is parking... much needed for me. I will not hesitate to book again next year!
Just spent a great weekend in Paul's place in Austin. The apt is spacious, modern and spotless. Nice quiet neighborhood close to downtown. Paul and Erica at turnkey were very responsive and helpful. There is a huge Whole Foods a short distance walk which is a nice bonus. All in all can't rate it highly enough.
Paul's condo was beautiful! It is truly walking distance to some fun parts of Austin. Everything was clean and had a fresh washed scent. The condo is much bigger in person. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay there and would not hesitate to stay again next time I make a trip to Austin.
Paul's place was the perfect apartment for a long weekend in Austin. Amazing location and plenty of space for 6 of us. Highly recommended for anybody looking to come visit Austin. Thanks Paul!
Overall the place is fantastic and easily accommodates six guests. The bedrooms and bathrooms are a good size. I thought the place was larger than it looks in the pictures. It was clean. It's about a ten minute walk to get downtown which is well worth the larger space and amenities not available at a hotel.
Paul was helpful with questions and recommendations. I recommend staying at this apartment.
We (a family of four) were at Paul's for our son's graduation from McCombs MBA program. As it turned out, our son was on crutches bc of a torn Achilles, so the location was DOUBLY important! The location of the condo was ideal. Parking was a piece of cake. We were in and out about 5 times a day.
It is a large, open condo and exactly what we needed!
