Hi, I'm Maria, your host, and have five highly affordable, attractive, private 1/1 condos to offer in this building called The Wave for those with budgets in mind! To keep the space clean and comfortable for all guests, no pets and no smokers, please. Please see all condos offered by clicking on my airbnb profile photo. If you're interested in booking, please message me. The Wave is an architecturally unique, renovated 1960s building with all rounded external and internal elements. It truly looks like a wave!
This condo is elegantly furnished and painted, and on the 5th floor of The Wave condo building (has elevator, of course). It's tiled throughout except in the bedroom, and it's ideal for 2-4 people because the bedroom has a queen sleigh bed and the living room contains has a queen sleeper sofa with cushioned mattress cover. The dining area is adjacent to the balcony which overlooks the large oval pool, picnic/BBQ areas, sand volleyball court, and woods with palms, pines, and live oak trees for a secluded resort feeling. The balcony has outdoor furniture and is decorated for enjoyment of nature and fresh air. The living room contains a leather queen sleeper sofa, unique round matching loveseat, two end tables with lamps, coffee table, large area rug, silk tropical plants, artwork (more to come) and vivid paint colors throughout, an LED TV (with cable from Bright House Networks), DVD player, and small black lacquer entertainment center. The cute dining area is nearby with a solid dark wood pub-style table and two pub chairs. The lovely bedroom has a queen sleigh bed, end tables with lamps, matching dresser with mirror, ceiling fan, wifi, two walk-in closets, TV, and attractive artwork. The bathroom has a sink, toilet with storage shelves above, tub and shower. The kitchen has refrigerator, oven/stove with ceramic glass top, microwave oven, coffee machine, dishes, glasses, pots, plasticware--all you need to prepare and store meals. The countertop overlooking the living room is a breakfast bar style so you can enjoy a meal there too while sitting on one of the three lovely bar stools. The hallway contains a large closet and also linen closet for your storage needs and comes equipped with an iron. The host lives downstairs on the 4th floor and can assist you with questions and give sightseeing advice. Enjoy complete privacy and relaxation in this elegantly furnished, painted, and decorated St Pete condo during your short or long-term stay. Guests can use all amenities including laundry rooms and fitness center on the first floor and free assigned unit parking (one space). Enjoy the Florida lifestyle at a very reasonable price! The Gulf of Mexico and its beaches are four miles west, as is lovely Ft. DeSoto Park, Eckerd College, downtown St. Pete, and the condo is a moment's walk from the waters of Tampa Bay because it's across the street from a private marina and new waterfront townhouse development. Maximo Park on the waters is Tampa Bay is a mile away and has swimming beaches, picnic areas, playground, and shaded hiking trails.
This 1/1 condo is ideal for your Florida holiday and for all you get for sleeping up to four people, it's very reasonably priced! Has an LED TV and DVD player in living room, wifi throughout the unit, and all utilities, of course, including central heating and AC. Cable and wifi is provided by Bright House Networks. Enjoy the large oval swimming pool, lounge chairs, fitness center, volleyball court, picnic/BBQ area, downstairs laundry rooms, and free guest parking in space 9 in the back past the pool. Convenient location to I-275 and close to Tampa Bay, Gulf of Mexico, beaches, Eckerd College, Ft. Desoto Park, downtown St. Pete, Clearwater, Tampa, and even Bradenton and Sarasota for a day trip.

Because she lives downstairs, the host Maria is available to answer questions and assist you. This condo is private and unoccupied by other people. It's in The Wave building which consists of over 100 other units in south St. Petersburg in an upscale, convenient location called Pinellas Point less than a mile east of Eckerd College and four miles east of St. Pete's famous beaches, Ft. Desoto Park, and the 1920s historic Don Cesar Hotel.
The Wave is just minutes from the warm, turquoise waters and white sand beaches of the Gulf of Mexico, Fort DeSoto Park, and St. Pete Beach which was chosen by "Dr. Beach" as one of America's top beaches. This tastefully furnished, 1/1 private and highly affordable condo will suit your budget! It'll be your home away from home because it's equipped with all the comforts and conveniences needed for a fantastic Florida vacation. Numerous activities are available nearby--enjoy the area's walking and biking trails, fishing, swimming, golfing, boating, sight-seeing trips, nightlife, casino cruises, sunset cruises, watercraft rentals, and more. For visiting sports fans, the choices abound--Tropicana Field, the home of the Tampa Bay Rays, is a 15 minute drive. Just north on Interstate 275 is Raymond James Stadium and Amalie Arena, home to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Tampa Bay Lightning. The Tampa Bay area is also home to the Rowdies of the North American Soccer League, minor league baseball, and MLB Spring Training.

The Wave condos are at the base of the Skyway Bridge in south St. Petersburg. A private marina with new $300,000 plus townhouses is across the street. Tampa Bay and Maximo Park containing bayside beaches and picnic facilities are within a 1/2 mile. The condo is minutes from I-275 for a quick day trip to Tampa and Sarasota. Tampa is about 30 minutes away and Sarasota is a 45 minute drive. The condo is close to grocery stores and shopping. It's five miles south of beautiful downtown St. Petersburg and four miles east of Ft. DeSoto Park and the famous Gulf of Mexico beaches. This is a perfect place for nature lovers and people who like convenient access to all major tourist spots. Also, Eckerd College is about 1/2 miles away which is ideal for students' family members and visitors.
A public bus stop is a ten minute walk from the condo. Grocery stores, gas stations, convenience stores, and small restaurants are within a ten minute walk of the building. A private marina is across the street on a Tampa Bay tributary. The condo has one free assigned parking space. Free guest parking is also available around the building and in front along the street. Bike, canoe, kayak, jet ski, and other equipment can be rented in many nearby places for your leisure and recreational needs. The public library is a 10 minute drive too, and it has DVDs to check out in addition to books and also computers for library patrons to use for free.
Other Things to Note
One assigned free parking space comes with the private unit. Free guest parking is also available around the building. The street in front of the building also has free parking in case the guest spots are filled. This is an attractive, affluent area minutes from the waters of Tampa Bay and a 10 minute drive west to the Gulf of Mexico and famous St. Pete Beach.
If you want an affordable, attractive place but have Trump Tower, Grand Hilton, or Ritz-Carlton expectations, don't book here. This is a very attractive, clean condo and unique, historic condo building. This condo is a very good deal pricewise for all you get! I live downstairs, so pick up the phone if you have a question because I'm here to help! :) I even provide a comment sheet in the condo for your comments and suggestions because I value your input. Rules: No smokers and no pets, please. Guests must be respectfully quiet for residents in the building which means no loud parties or noises after 11 p.m. The condos are not to be used for drunken parties. This is private property in which people live year-round so respectful, appropriate behavior is mandatory. Please tidy up condo and throw out garbage regularly. When not in the condo, please turn off lights and ceiling fans and turn up the AC to conserve electricity. Condo to be used only for legal purposes. Thank you!
