This is a beautiful, modern schoolhouse inspired cabin in the heart of Paradise Valley. It's location halfway between historic Livingston, MT and the north gates of Yellowstone in Gardiner, MT make it the perfect home base for trips into Yellowstone, to Chico & Yellowstone Hot springs, hiking, cross country skiing, rafting or just relaxing and enjoying the views. The Paradise Valley is 60 miles of stunning landscape and wilderness and schoolhouse is right in the middle of it all.

The space
Schoolhouse is designed to feel spacious and has been thoughtfully designed to meet all your needs despite its small footprint (650 sqft). There is a full kitchen, dining table for four, large bedroom with comfortable queen sized bed, sofa, single futon and bathroom with a clawfoot tub for luxurious soaks. Polished concrete floors, fir wrapped walls and a vaulted ceiling create a charming and modern cabin aesthetic. Radiant heated floors provide cozy warmth in the winter and large double-hung windows create cool breezes throughout while also providing stunning panoramic mountain views.
The space sits on 20 acres of open prairie surrounded by the Absaroka and Gallatin mountain ranges. There are two other cabins situated on this end of the property that were designed with maintaining your privacy in mind. There are neighbors on adjoining properties, but the feeling of the area remains calm and somewhat remote.

Guest access
You are welcome to explore our property. There is a map on the fridge to let you know the boundaries. We just ask that you be respectful of our neighbors and not wander into their space.

Other things to note
During the warmer months be aware that there can be rattlesnakes on the prairie. We hope that instead you'll be visited by the many pronghorn, elk and deer that frequent the area.

During the winter months we recommend a vehicle with 4WD or AWD.
