Location

Brighton, United Kingdom

The location of Trafalgar Cottage is perfect. Just two minutes walk from the mainline Brighton Station with trains to Gatwick and London and also to the local overnight Trafalgar Street Car Park, the cottage is a unique oasis of tranquility right in the bustling and fashionable North Laine area and also walking distance to the beach.

The narrow streets and bright colourful houses of The North Laine are a defining feature of Brighton. A gentle stroll from the front door brings you to a vibrant and eclectic selection of independent vintage, fashion and homewares boutiques, specialist coffee shops, cafes and market stalls, selling anything and everything, arguably the most atmospheric and unique area of Brighton.

Here you’ll also find the city’s main attractions including, The Theatre, Museums and the stunning Royal Pavilion, built in 1787 by George, Prince of Wales, the Prince Regent. The Royal Pavilion is a must see, being one of Brighton's most iconic sites, featuring outstanding Regency rooms and architecture. It is surrounded by pristine and beautiful gardens which are perfect for relaxing in the Summer listening to some local jazz musicians.

A gentle walk southwards brings you to the fashionable little streets of The Lanes, full of upmarket boutiques and restaurants, and then to Brighton Beach, Promenade, SeaLife, the famous Brighton Pier and its amusement attractions and the huge i360 viewing tower. Everything is walking distance from Trafalgar Cottage - but watch out for the greedy seagulls!
