About This Listing
You simply cannot be more central in Camden than our apartment. Even people who live in Camden are amazed at the location! All the bars, restaurants, night clubs and tourist attractions are within minutes of us and central London itself is 10 mins!
This is an entire apartment in Camden Town.
From the apartment you are literally in the heart of it all. Camden is one of London's busiest boroughs and is famous for its Camden Lock Market during the day and its selection of nightlife in the evening. This makes it the perfect spot for a visitor to the city to stay. You can walk to the very heart of Central London in 20 mins but if you choose not to you are already living in one of London's biggest tourist attractions.
Apart from this you are a stones throw from Regent's Park which is one of London's largest and nicest parks, you are around the corner from the British Library, and only a few stops on the tube from everywhere else.
The apartment has free WiFi internet and a 40 inch flat screen TV, we do not have satellite but we do have a dvd player and a selection of DVD's. Sadly there is no washing machine but there is a laundrette 2 streets away. The shower is a full sized standing cubicle with a power shower. It's nice and hot and doesn't run out! The kitchen, whilst small, is available for use whenever you wish. We also have a range of teas, coffees, and fruit juices free of charge.
It has a double bed to sleep 2 people, plus it has 2 full size sofa-beds if you wish to have up to 4 more people which would be £15/night each.
All bed linen, towels, etc are provided upon arrival and depending on the duration of your stay will be replaced accordingly.
The one main downside stems from the positives - the apartment is in the absolute heart of one of London's busiest and most popular areas. It is also on the same street as many bus routes. This means that it is not suitable for people who need silence to sleep (weekends especially). It is not majorly noisy but I would imagine some people may not enjoy it. Oh, we are also right next to a pub which means on some days you will be able to hear them delivering kegs of beer. This is easily the noisiest part of the week!
As for us, we are a couple who have been together for 4 years. She is aiming to get in to charity work and I run a company that helps people socialise easier, so I hope we can safely say we are both nice and friendly!
FOR THE WORLD:
Easy to reach all of London's airports including HEATHROW, LUTON, STANSTED, and GATWICK.
A short walk from the EUROSTAR for Paris, Brussels and beyond.
FOR THE UK:
Short walk to/from EUSTON and KING'S CROSS stations if you are travelling to the North of England or Scotland!
Across the street from a tube station (Camden Town station, Camden Road station is a 1 minute walk up the road as well), and nearby bus stops with frequent buses 24/7 to get all over London. There is even a cycle hire rack round the corner!
If you have any further questions then please feel free to contact me to ask.
Please note: We do not accept young children as the location is unsuited to them due to the bars and clubs and nightlife of the area. However during mid week bookings we are happy to accept children.
p.s. the satellite TV is currently not working due to scaffolding on the building. A range of DVDs have been made available though.
You have the run of the house and can come and go.
Interaction with Guests
We tend to give guests their privacy but are at hand if you need any recommendations or have any questions regarding the property. We can both be easily reached :)
Search for Camden on the internet and you will see what we mean when we say that it is a major tourist area and very very bustling. I simply cannot list all the different things to do, bars to play in, restaurants to eat at or nearby attractions. Check out our Guidebook for our list of places to see!
You can see the tube station from the apartment and we are located near a major selection of bus routes giving you some of the best transport links in the city. There are also numerous taxi ranks and companies in the immediate vicinity.
Please treat our apartment like you would treat your home :)
You are provided a set of keys (if more needed please let us know in advance)
The best way to contact us before your stay is through Airbnb.
Enjoy your stay!
Colin is a very genuine guy and very easy going. The flat is in an amazing location if you want the Camden experience! As Colin mentioned in the description it is in a loud area but if you want the electric atmosphere of Camden this shouldn't bother you! Colin has even left out packs of earplugs for anyone who's not used to sleeping in a noisy city. The flat is very clean, kitchen is great and he even left a few supplies there, like tea bags and cereals. Nice one!!!! I definitely will stay here again ;-)
Perfect place to stay if you want to be in the middle of the Camden vibe. Super comfy beds and amazing location. Colin was welcoming and helpful. Wish I could've stayed longer.
Colin was very welcoming and helpful. The apartment was as described, in a great location and had all amenities as needed. Colin even left us food and drink! Recommended!
We had an excellent stay here. The location is right in the heart of Camden, super convenient. And it's right around the corner from the train station so you can get anywhere in London quickly. The apartment is clean and comfortable, and the hosts are very helpful. Any questions I had were answered very quickly. There were a few noise disturbances in the morning, but that is understandable considering it's prime location. Highly recommended.
Nice and clean apartment excellently located in the heart of what I consider one of the best areas in London.
Very welcoming and flexible host.
Overall experience highly recommended.
Stayed for 3 nights and had a very good stay. Everything as described and location was perfect.

About the Host, Colin
Hi, I am a 31 year old male and I live with my 23 year old girl friend. I run a social skills and therapy company and she studies at university.

Us as a couple:
We have been together for 4 years and recently moved in to this apartment.
What you can expect from us as hosts:
We are very relaxed and easy going, life is too short to get upset or worry. We like a relaxed atmosphere here as well. We are not noisy but we don't mind if you are (within reason!), and depending on whether we are free to hang out we might even show you around some of the local area. However, we both have odd schedules so it is not always possible.
If you have any other questions feel free to ask. We are both very open and relaxed.
In the words of the Prophet Bob Marley - Don't worry, be happy.
