-Panda Chinese (quirky & tacky family run chinese hole in the wall with lots of panda bears as decor)
-Carla's Route 62 Diner (for a classic diner and breakfast)
-Las Palmas Mexican Cuisine (tacky little mexican joint with big servings and friendly atmosphere)
-Jelly Donut (quirky donut stop)
-Morongo Valley Cafe (cute small local breakfast stop)
-Big Morongo Preserve (hiking trails, great for kids as well)
-Cactus Mart (cute little cactus store in town, sells vegan faire-call to make sure its in stock)
