People tend to believe that beautiful things and places appear overnight and that behind them are machines for money making, ready to exploit their need to feel good. Which may be true.
It is also true, that many projects are born from a dream that feeds you with so much energy that you get to devote to it beyond the limits you thought you had.
This is the case with the "The County House". Although is a brand-new project, it has already a story worth telling to the grandchildren.

The space
The aim of the "The County House" is to develop the local entrepreneurship and promote the rural environment of Buzau County. The project is financed from our own resources, born from the melancholy of the summers spent at the grandparents in Buzau, born out of love for Romania and the desire to show to the world, the beauties of this country.
The center of the project is the house with a surface of 250sqm, 5 rooms and 2 bathrooms and a 3000sqm garden where the fruit trees have already started to be planted. In the next 2 years, and with your help, the campsite will be ready which will be equipped with bathrooms and toilets as well as a splendid summer kitchen.

Geopark "Buzau Land" is a territory of sustainable development in Buzau County, which aspires to the title of UNESCO Geopark. The initiative of its creation is carried out with a view to preserving, promoting and exploiting the special natural elements of the area, the values ​​of cultural and historical heritage and to support the social and economic development of the communes on the principle of sustainable development.

The area is rich both culturally and naturally (there are more then 40 points of interest to be visited- you will need at least 2 months to spend here with me :)), but the most important resource of the territory is the connection between nature and culture. This connection is expressed both materially (amber craftsmen, stone craftsmen, wood carvers craftsmen, etc.), but especially on the immaterial level, through the stories that have appeared based on geological phenomena and elements.
You have high geo diversity (extremely complex geological structure and geological phenomena), biodiversity (the area is located at the confluence of three biogeographic zones: continental, steppe and alpine), cultural diversity (it is a space at the interference of three provinces - Ardeal, Moldova, Tara Romaneasca).

During your stay

I will be there all the time or I will not be at all. It depends on what you feel like doing. My suggestion is to keep me always there with you, because what can be more interesting than having a local guide always available with you .:)
