Interaction with Guests
While we live in SF we do have an agent in Guerneville.
Next door to an organic coffee shop (which can be busy in the mornings) 3rd street is usually a quiet street as not many residential properties are on this street, but you are one block from main street, Safeway etc. so there can be pedestrian noise but this is unusual So walking distance to all the restaurants, bars shops etc
I would say you need a car or other vehicle if planning on venturing outside of Guerneville, otherwise you can park up and walk everywhere
While we understand this is a vacation town for the most part, we do have neighbors at the back and would ask that you not be too loud around the hot tub at night. No parties under any circumstances. Small groups are fine
AMAZING AIR BNB!!
- Michael was so easy to communicate with and responded very promptly, our group had such an awesome time at the house
- Michael is very accommodating and helpful all around
- house was very clean and ready for us
- fantastic location for walking to everything in Guerneville
- had great restaurant and recreation recommendations in the binder
- hot tub was perfect!
What a great and relaxing sanctuary. I slept so well every night!
Everything is described perfectly. Michael gave us all the information we needed prior to our stay and checked in on us early on via text to ensure our stay was going to perfect...it was! We took full use of kitchen, TV (with an AppleTV btw) and of course the hot tub.
Access to everything Guerneville has to offer is right outside your door: Safeway, restaurants, bars, trails, the river...perfect!
I highly recommend checking out MoonRiver.
This was the most perfectly welcoming and well decorated home! It was super fun, comfortable, and clean. Michael was extremely responsive and helpful. He made the extra effort to provide a very detailed guest book, which made it easy to enjoy all of the amenities! The hot tub was a great asset, and we couldn't have been closer to downtown Grueneville. We didn't leave a 3 block radius, and we were able to enjoy at least 5 different restaurants and 5 different bars AND spend time at the river! The town is so friendly, too. The only two things to be aware of is that the house only has 1 (well decorated) bathroom and its proximity to downtown means there's more noise. I'm so glad we stayed with Michael, and I highly recommend this spot! Thanks again!
I stayed at Moon River's End with a friend to work on our dissertations. The home was gorgeous - better than pictured - and the kitchen has literally anything you need. Because there was both a health food store and a Safeway within two blocks, we rarely had to use our car. We had an amazing time and would definitely go back again.
Moon River's End is a very beautiful home. Michael was prompt with communication leading up to and during our stay. The home was impeccably clean and very tastefully updated. They even provided a complimentary bottle of champagne :)
The one area for improvement would be insulation. We arrived on a warm winter afternoon and it was surprisingly much, much colder inside the house than it was outside. Thankfully the heaters were able to fight off the chill by the time night fell. Temperature-wise, we were comfortable for the remainder of our stay, but we had the heater running the whole time :( I'm sure in the summer it is perfect.
Also note that this property is right in the middle of Guerneville. Being next to the local coffee shop had its pros (coffee) and cons (neighbors gathering and loudly recounting New Year's festivities).
If you plan to go to the restaurants, this is a great spot because you can walk to everything! We really enjoyed El Barrio, Boon, and we had to try Betty Spaghetti (worth it!). And the first Friday of the month is the Guerneville Art Walk.
About the Host, Michael
An Irish dance teacher, I moved to San Francisco three years with my husband Stephen. While we very much enjoy all San Francisco has to offer we lived in the woods in the west of Ireland and Guerneville offers us a get away to a beautiful area with a great sense of community so now we get to enjoy both worlds
