Neighborhood highlights

Did we tell you how conveniently located we are to local attractions?
* 20 km drive to Martinique Beach, NS's longest sandy beach. Supervised swimming in the summer. Surfing equipment and lessons available.
* 10 min drive to the Musquodoboit Trail Centre for walking or biking on 14km of rail trail + some serious off trail hiking in nice rugged loops in a variety of distances.
* 7 km drive to the Dobbit Bakehouse, home of delicious sweet and savory baking and "Just Us" organic, fair trade coffee.
* 9 min drive to our very own Uprooted Market Cafe for fresh, seasonal, local fruits and veggies, a variety of other local products and delicious light meals plus Laughing Whale's fair trade organic 'Seventh Wave Espresso' and a variety of their drip coffee blends. Five days a week, right in the heart of Musquodoboit Harbour.
* 9 min drive to the Harbour Brewing Company, brand new in 2018! Focused on local suppliers, businesses, and market, it is the first self-owned brewing project for Chris Downey, a veteran of the brewing industry in Quebec and Nova Scotia for more than 25 years. The only brewery between Dartmouth and Sheet Harbour.
* 7 km drive to the amazing Harbour Fish’n Fries, Noor's Mediterranean and Polar Bear Express (icecream, in season).
* Sitting just off the Eastern Shore of Halifax lies a beautiful archipelago of over 100 Wild Islands dotted with white sand beaches, windswept headlands, boreal rainforests, thriving bogs and swampland. This diverse landscape, home to over 100 species of seabirds, songbirds and shorebirds, welcomes the intrepid wilderness paddler or sailor. Covering over 250 kilometers of shoreline, these islands remain largely undisturbed by humans. Unmatched opportunities abound for exploration and discovery!
It takes approximately half an hour to drive to Dartmouth, 45 minutes to the Halifax Waterfront, three quarters of an hour to the airport and one and a half hours to the south shore and Peggy's Cove.

I was actually born in Germany, but I traveled a lot because I felt at home in the world. Not long ago I discovered this gem of a house at the Petpeswick inlet. This wonderful place is worth to be shown to others, so feel free to stay here for a while.
