Even though Annouk was away most of the time, we were pleased by such a nice and helpful, bus also very sympathetic host. The Apartment was is simple but just perfect for a vacation in peace and calm in a typical space in south of France.
The Place is a perfect start for some day trips in the Luberon, the Vaucluse, Aix, Avignon, etc.
In the Evening you always get back to this quite and beautiful apartment.
We DO recommend this Place very much, and we are looking forward to our next time Chez Annouk.
Relax. That’s the keyword in La Bastidonne. Away from the madness, but close to Marseille, Aix-en-Provence, Avignon and Toulon. On our arrival some local wine and croissants waited us. Yum! Though we only booked the Saverie Suite (with amazing walk-in rain shower) we had the house most of the time to ourselves. And for 3 days we had some cool company from Prague. We would definitely recommend La Bastidonne if you are in need of some peace and quiet quality time with your loved ones (and if you are a fan of barbecuing and playing badminton because we left those goods it for you!). Lay back and enjoy.
I appreciated very much to stay in Annouk´s house.
She welcomed me very friendly and gave me an impression like feeling at home in this small typical village of Provence.
Exactly what I needed after work.
Annouk was the most fabulous host you can imagine. Extremely friendly and hospitable. Her place is amazing! As an architecture buff I fell in love with her home which has been part of her family for 3 generations. Be sure to ask her about the progression of the house over the years and you will see how passionate she is about the property.
The quaint village of La Bastidonne is incredibly beautiful, and as authentic as they come. A perfect gateway to to region, and a perfect place to be if you're trying to avoid the touristic crowds.
Annouk also offered to spend a whole day with me, giving me a tour of many of the nearby villages in Provence. We had such a great time and she is extremely knowledgeable. My "Day in Provence" was absolutely spectacular thanks to Annouk. I couldn't have asked for a better experience, and I can't wait to go back for a longer stay.
