This room is the nicest of the three bedroom apartment I have listed here. As an added bonus, the bathroom is scheduled to be remodeled in January of 2015, so depending upon when you visit you made get to enjoy the freshly remodeled bathroom! The room includes access to the common areas which include a fully stocked kitchen, 2 areas with several couches for seating, a dining area, and much more! For more specifics, read on:
-California King bed w/ pillow-top and electric mattress heater
-Desk w/ desktop computer available
-Projector with a 100 inch screen and a 5.1 sound system that can be used while you are under the covers
-Private bathroom with shower
-Large closet (has some stuff of mine in it, which you are welcome to borrow)
-Awesome views of the mountains and a south-facing porch with access from the bedroom.
-Plenty of delicious home-brewed beer
-Wooden burning fireplace
-Access to a hot tub, weight room, and free laundry facilities
-Large flat screen TV with Xfinity cable/On Demand
-Free wi-fi access
-1960s cabinet style record player
-Fully stocked kitchen
-Right on the orange bus line which will take you straight to the base of the resort.
-Walking distance from all the bars downtown
-Depending upon the season, up to 2 wonderful room mates
Aside from the resort, there are all kinds of things to do within about 10 minutes. The location is perfect, being only about 1/4 mile from the National Forest.
Winter: Downhill ski, cross country ski, snowshoe, snowmobile, dog sled, sled in the park downtown, beer tasting at The Library, live music at Ullr's Tavern
Summer: Hike, mountain bike (cross country or downhill), road bike, fly fishing, whitewater rafting, live music in the park every Thursday, drive to the top of the continental divide on Corona Pass Road, beer tasting at The Library, live music at Ullr's Tavern
Unfortunately, it is a 3 bedroom apartment so there will probably be someone else staying in one of the rooms during your stay. Due to this, I can make no guarantees as to the cleanliness of the common areas (and is the reason I am a lot cheaper than everything else in this area!). I also just adopted a dog this past summer, so this may not be the best place if you have pet allergies.
The bar: I pride myself in having a relatively well stocked bar, and I'd like to keep it that way! Feel free to utilize the bar during your visit, but be sure to leave something else for others to enjoy.
Lastly, have fun! If there is anything you need, please do not hesitate to let me know!
A fine stay. Jeff made everything easy for us and even though he was not there, he was very attentive. Shuttle to the slopes a 100 yards up the road. The apartment and our room were just as described. Jeff brews some tastee beer and my two sons and I had did some fine card playing with our flat mates on Sat. Would certainly stay there again.
Even though I wasn't lucky enough to meet Jeff in person, he was so easy to communicate with and very friendly! The description was spot on and the bed was really comfortable. The directions were easy and key was right where he said it would be. I would definitely stay here again. Thanks Jeff!
Fun, respectful and accommodating... Thats how i would describe Jeff. My girlfriend and I spent 4 amazing nights as Jeff's guests in his cozy winter park apartment... He was very flexible with our requests for the room, and was more than happy to give us a ride to the train station. He took us to his favorite winter park brewery (hideaway brewery) and played board games at night... You will fall in love with his blue heeler Zia (if you like dogs)... Cool fact: he brews his own beer!
Before our stay, Jeff was very quick to respond and more than helpful in answering questions about the reservation. The night we showed up we were a little surprised by the general state of the apartment and we had some concerns about security for us and our belongings. Jeff has been very helpful and was great to speak with about our concerns. We originally booked three nights at Jeff's place and he has agreed to refund one of the two nights we didn't stay to accommodate our concerns.
In many of Jeff's reviews, it appears he was present during most everyone's stay and I expect the experience would be completely different given Jeff had been there to speak with personally. The apartment was in a great location right downtown Winter Park.
I appreciate that Jeff and I were able to come to an agreement and it proves he is invested in making the best experience for each and every guest.
The house is in a really good area, very close to the lift that takes to the resort. We got there from the Fraser train station and it was pretty easy.
The house is very cozy and the room very spacious. We didn't have the computer that is in the description though.
My time at Jeff's was absolutely awesome. Had a blast in Winter Park (the location is great), and Jeff was a great host. Super cool guy, very accommodating, and a really chill spot.
We had a fun time in winter park. Although our room wasn't ready quite when we expected we didn't mind touring the town. The bed is so ridiculously cozy and warm and Jeff is a great, helpful host. It was a fun experience and very chill all around.

I just started an online retail business, Moonshine Distiller (AirBnB won't let me put the web address, so (website hidden) it if you're curious). Brewing has really taken off in the past couple decades, and I would love to see distilling do the same. The first step is getting people involved in it!
Skiing is amazing. It is the one thing I have loved unconditionally since I was 1. And now I do it for a living.
Biking, also something I have loved forever (since I was 3, without training wheels). And now I do it for a living.
Whitewater boating, also something I have loved (since I was 8). And now I do it for a living.
I really enjoy hanging out with people and having a good time, being social and all, but at the same time I am just as content to being solitary.
I am very passionate about the music I like.
I love the outdoors.
I love beer and can appreciate all forms of it; good/bad, expensive/cheap, or dark/light. If there is a beer on tap that I have not had, you can bet I will be trying it.
I often like to make life more difficult for myself.
I am thrifty.
When I ask people, "If I were an animal, what would I be?" The most common response is an eagle/falcon/hawk or a cheetah.
I love different cultures, which is why I love traveling and hosting people.
I love to cook. I love to make beer. I love being my own handyman. I just enjoy doing things myself.
