There is plenty of on street parking in a quiet residential tree-lined street; Centrally located in mid city LA, minutes to charming Larchmont Village where many varied international restaurants abound also the famous Larchmont Village Pizza Parlor; it's a monster hit! Best pizza in town. Drive or bus east a few minutes along Olympic Blvd ( it is not necessary to take the 10 east Freeway known as the Santa Monica Freeway) and you will be at the Nokia Theater the the LA Sports Arena. Drive west a few minutes and you are at the Grove (Fairfax and Third) LACMA (Los Angeles County Museum of Art). Hollywood is a few minutes north along Vine Street, just three blocks west of my street. Beverly Hills is further west from Fairfax, along Wilshire or Olympic Blvds, Traveling still further west, you reach UCLA and then Santa Monica and the beach with famous Venice Muscle Beach. These locations are all extremely convenient from my house. LAX is only 20 minutes from my house along La Cienega Blvd and Century Blvds. Confused! Oh Well! Probably how I wrote about it. It's all OK. It is all so close and that is a plus because traffic here can be a challenge!
Walk one anda half blocks to the bus on Wilshire and Olympic ; UCLA is 7.6 miles along Wilshire Blvd (takes 21 minutes with no traffic. USC is 5.6 miles away and 12 minutes if there is light traffic along Olympic Blvd. Again, using public transportation you have easy access to Hollywood, the movie studios Paramount, Universal, Twentieth Century Fox, and Warner Bros.the Grove, Beverly Hills, Beverly Center ( a very recently renovated mall) Santa Monica and the Calif. beaches. Using a car, one has access to both the 10, Santa Monica Freeway and the 101, the Hollywood Freeway.
We have friendly cocker spaniel dogs which are all rescues from the Los Angeles Animal Shelters.
The neighborhood is very quiet, perfect for relaxation and study. We have hosted writers, law and medical students, actors and musicians. There is ample street parking on the tree lined street should you need it..
We look forward to making your stay in LA as comfortable and convenient and friendly as possible.

Interaction with Guests
Meet and greet when they arrive; show guests where they will sleep, show them how to lock front door and their bedroom door, kitchen bathroom, washer/dryer facility. I am then usually working.
Plenty of on street parking as the area is really only for single families, usually a couple and up to two children. So very quiet, and spacious.
Convenient to DTLA and Korea Town, the Grove, the LACMA Museum.Hollywood and Larchmont Blvd.
Other Things to Note
THE BLUE ROOM.
Accomodation for one person $50.00 a night
No smoking; no drugs; no hard liquor;
Last person in the house, at night, please put the security chain on the front door after locking it.
Also as there is a water shortage in Los Angeles at the present time, Los Angelenos have water restrictions, so please take showers of reasonable length. Coming from Australia, where there are frequent droughts, I learnt very early on, how precious water is.
Many thanks and we hope you enjoy your stay here.
Jennifer very sweet, helpful and communicative. She made sure I felt at home. The room was spacious, clean and bright; And the bed super comfortable. The neighbourhood was very central and with a lot of public transportation nearby. Also parking was really easy. I had an amazing stay. Thanks Jenn!!! Hope to see you soon.
Jennifer was an excellent host. She made me feel really at home. She is a great character and I really enjoyed a number of discussions on many diverse subjects. A great house in a lovely location. Thoroughly recommended.
Jennifer was a gracious hostess and very quick to reply, easy to communicate with.
The room was tasteful and large, very bright. You can tell she put a lot of thought into making it a nice space for a guest.
As others mentioned, there were a few dogs in the home, but they were well-behaved.
All in all, an easy, comfortable stay!
Jennifer was very kind, and helpful to my mother, who stayed with her during Thanksgiving week. The room was clean and she was very helpful. My mother spoke so well of Jennifer, as they woke up in the AM and shared stories and experiences in the kitchen together.
It was convenient, easy to come and go, and the time there was very much appreciated.
Jennifer is a very very nice and kind person. She made my stay very comfortable with cooking cafe in the morning, washing my clothes and i enjoyed the time so much.
her house is asome. i felt being welcome and loved the time i stayed there.
do i recommend it? >> definitely
Jennifer was an amazing host and her house was absolutely beautiful. I had an extremely comfortable stay and would definitely go back again. Thank you Jen :)
I stayed for a week at Jennifer's house. Or I should rather say- a museum. Her whole house is filled with amazing wall portraits. I was thoroughly mused to see her passion for ballet dancing. And as I told her personally, will share it here too- she should probably finish writing her autobiography. She has so much inside her to give to humanity.
I would definitely recommend a stay at her place. A very good experience.
