We are located inbetween Pueblo Nuevo and San Miguel on the Pacific Coast Highway in Guanacaste. We are unique in that we have 4 separate cabins each with their own bathroom and two of the cabins share an outdoor shower. Each bedroom has a queens size bed and the space to have a single added if need be...these singles come from a room that has three singles and one queensize in it that we usually use for families with young children who need to be close to the kids.
These cabins share a full kitchen and a lovely terrace for dining and visiting. There is a pool with chairs and a lovely garden for sunning. Around the property you will find lots of space to have quiet peaceful reading or resting. There are two hammocks on the property as well as an amazing Espresso Bar. The espresso bar is open 6am 6pm daily. Many delectable treats come out of the kitchen and are sold with some of the best coffee Costa Rica has to offer from Doka Estates near Poas Volcano in Central Costa Rica.
Some nice restaurants in the area and gorgeous practically private beaches abound...we are rural costa rica here...so not really on the radar yet...
Come see for yourself what real life costa rica is all about. Come to Rhodeside !
Accueil en anglais, dans un pays hispanique, nous avons trouvé ça dommage, communication difficile ... Lieu, Flore et faune sympa par ailleurs
Wow...booking 4 nights at Gwen and Edmund's place was the best idea we had in planning our trip. This place is just like paradise on earth ! Our room was beautiful, very charming, really clean, with bathroom inside with a nice shower with hot water, the bed is so comfy, we slept like babies and the only thing that could wake us up were the birds and the hurlant monkeys in the morning...True paradise! Gwen gave us towels and beach towels, she even lent us her beach ombrella and a beach blanket. We had a different breakfast every morning, always delicous, and Gwen made the best coffee we've had in Costa Rica. It was so nice to wake up and just get lazy reading in the hamac near the swimming pool, then we would take the car a go to the beach during the afternoon (7 min drive). San Miguel playa is gorgeous and not touristic which is what we were looking for. Gwen's place is also ideal if you don't want to spend to much money in restaurant since there is a kitchen available with everything you need to cook (fridge, gas stove...). We recommend Gwen and Edmund's bed and breakfast 100%, and if we ever come back to Costa Rica we will definately come back !
