A true CPH apartment - Wonderful :)

Apartment - Entire home/apt · Mimersgade, Copenhagen, Capital Region of Denmark 2200, Denmark

We welcome you to an authentic Copenhagen experience in our trendy and spacious apartment.

The Space

We have two living rooms, one of which can be used as a bedroom (with a nice extra double mattress) and one master bedroom with the office in one end (you are welcome to borrow our iMac if you need to look things up online).

Our apartment also has a well-designed kitchen fitted with a gas stove and all the cooking equipment you may need.

The bathroom is also fresh and new with a shower.

We will of course provide clean sheets and towels.

When the sun is shining the best place to be is in our living rooms as the sun shines in the entire day. As the apartment is on the 5th floor it's also is the last place in Nørrebro where the sun leaves.

We have a fold-out bed for babies if you need it - we use it for our highly beloved nephew.

We do hope you'll feel at home here and enjoy living in 'wonderful Copenhagen'.

We're most happy to answer all of your questions either about our home or our city.

We look forward to welcoming you soon!

Best regards,

Ann-Sofie and Jens

The Neighborhood

Our apartment is located in the buzzing suburb of Nørrbro. This quarter of the city is charming, multi-cultural, and exciting.

There are lots of different stores and cafes for you explore in the area - these also offer you a true taste of Copenhagen. If you'd like to see the rest of the city, there's a bus and train station just 3 minutes walk away. Bus 5A will take you directly to Nørreport, Rådhuspladsen and Copenhagen Central Station. But CPH is really a city of bikes - therefore we recommend you use ours bike and go wherever you want easily.

Grocery shopping is very cheap here and there are all different kinds of fruit and veggie markets. We have a supermarket just 1 minute away.

A fun park is just around the corner with quirky statues and objects from 150 countries all over the world -it's called Superkilen. This park has been named by the AIA (American Institute of Architects) as one of the world's best building project anno 2012!

And just 5 minutes in the other direction you'll find another popular park - Nørrebroparken - full of happy people and playgrounds.

  • We stayed at Ann-Sofies place for a long weekend and really enjoyed it. The keys we're given to us by a friend, the handover was perfectly arranged. The apartment was very spacious, very clean and Ann-Sofie had even baked some rye-bread which we we're told to try, which we did - it was really tasty, a nice homey touch to our arrival. The two bikes were great to have and the perfect way to get around town. We loved the shower solution.
    Highly recommendable!

  • WOW! That was just a perfect stay at a perfect place. Anne-Sofie was very quick in replying all our questions (quite a lot of them) and very helpful. The appartment was clean an cosy and everything perfectly prepared and organized. Even though the appartment is a bit outside you reach the inner city and the tourist attractions quite quickly by bus (direct all night long connection) or by bike. Highly recommendable. Thank you Ann-Sofie to make the stay of my guests such a good experience.

  • Ann-Sofie and Jen's apartment is wonderful and quite large. They greeted us when we arrived and took the time to answer all of our questions about Copenhagen. The apartment is very close to a bus stop that allows you to get all around Copenhagen if you prefer not to use the bikes. We had a wonderful time in Copenhagen and staying at Ann-Sofie and Jen's place was a big part of that. Highly recommended!

  • Staying in Ann-sofie and Jen's place is the whole point of air b and b philosophy. It's not just staying in a nice affordable place but getting to know the culture and experience of what it's like to live in Copenhagen. The apartment is a lovely unique place with cool, breezy and bright interior. Most of all i had the chance to hang out with Ann-sofie and she was so sweet to make me familiar with the Danish culture! And we actually made very good friends and i'll miss her a lot! There's also a nice cool cafe just round the corner, kaffebar, with cool people who run it. The neighbourhood is an awesome multicultural area which to me seemed somehow more interesting to stay than the touristy city centre. You should also check out Superkilen, the multicultural park project just 2 minutes away from the house. The only thing that you'd better know about that is that the apartment is on the fifth floor. It might be a bit challenging to carry your luggage if you have heavy ones, but it was a perfect exercise for me after having too many Danish pastry. Besides that's the reason why the apartment is so bright and full of natural sun from morning till evening! I can' t just recommend this place more! Such an ace experience!

Wuerde ohne Kindern sicherlich wieder gehen.

  • We loved staying in this apartment. The neighborhood is really interesting - doesn't feel too pristine and definitely not touristy. There's a great super market just 5-minutes walk away.

The apartment itself was spacious and full of light, and very clean. There were four of us staying there, and it was very comfortable. It's filled with great little details, which filled the apartment with charm. The shower may not be what you'd expect, but it's such a clever solution for the space, it becomes charming and isn't an issue at all over a short stay.

Ann-Sophie was very responsive and helpful for arranging check-in. She and Jens were on vacation during our stay, but arranged for us to meet up with her sister who was also sooo helpful and really sweet. When we arrived, she gave us a tour through the apartment, and then showed us a selection of maps and guides for things to do in the city. Ann-Sophie left some information of great bars and restaurants nearby, as well as places to go rent bikes (which was key for us!).

We had such a great visit to Copenhagen and this flat definitely helped make the trip all the more special.

  • We had a very nice stay in Anne-Sofies apartment. The apartment was cosy, big and in tiptop condition. It was easy for us to feel like home. In addition the communication with Anne-Sofie and her sister (how welcomed us) was great. They both seems like really lovely persons. We recommend this apartment for everyone that would like a nice stay in KB.

  • Photos of this apartment really do not do it justice. It is extremely spacious and comfortable. We loved our stay in Nørrebro.

  • My son and I stayed here for two nights. The apartment was clean and checking in with Ann-Sofie was a breeze. One of the two bikes had been stolen shortly before we arrived, but that may have been a blessing in disguise... Biking Copenhagen is serious business! Locals are fast and have some pretty serious rules of the road. We walked and took the bus everywhere, which allowed more gawking and photographing than would have been possible on bikes.

The rooms were light and airy. No curtains, but if you're coming to Copenhagen to sleep in, just stay home and do that! The bathroom is amazingly small! Was not a problem for two guys with short hair, but women with a head full of long hair may have a small issue with the shower (which runs off the sink tap - not a problem, but reminds me more of camping than anything else). Location is great for buses and trains. Lots of good Lebanese food I the local neighborhood. I'd stay here again!

About
Hi We are a happy couple, who got married 22 oct 2011. An active day is a good day for both of us. We both love different sports (tennis, badmin, squash, soccer, volley etc.), out door stuff (fishing, spear fishing, trekking, biking, running). We both love to drive around CPH on our bikes. Last year we bought a tandem bike and summer 2012 we rode to Croatia - a life adventure :) !! Lots of different cultures, nature and people (all things we enjoy). We are both students: Jens studies political science and sports and I study theology. Jens works as a fitness instructor and I work with a youth group in a church and with a handicapped child. We are both Christian and go to a church right around the corner from our apartment. Some favorite things to define us: Jens couldn't live without: his wife, his bike, his computer, music and nature Ann-Sofie (all most the same, we are pretty similar ;)): her husband, her bike, nature, sun and her faith (and a 6th thing: her mum) Travels: Wauw we both love to travel - the only unexplored place for us is South America and Nepal, where we really want to go. Or a crazy bike ride again :) Favorite countries: Jens: NZ Ann-Sofie: Tanzania, India and the Middle East Music: Jens: varies from Pink Floyd to Kanye West Ann-Sofie: all different kinds of indie music, dance music (so that i can dance joy or antsy feelings out), pop, rock, classic - NO heavy! haha Books: Jens: Idioten, F. Dostojevskij Ann-Sofie: I have some favorite authors: Søren Kirkegaard, Khaled Hosseini, Erlende Joe (and I love to study the bible) Movies: Jens: The Devils advocate Ann-Sofie: Hævnen by Susanne Birger Food: We cook often together from Claus Meyers recipe book (you are welcome to borrow it - goes after the seasons, some vege days and some with meat to save the environment). Life motto: "Rejoyce in the Lord, I say again rejoice" and Carpe Diem (every day is a gift get the best out of it :) - laugh, smile, do something good to other people, spread love).. Life is a party..
