At Bahía Catalina we want to transform ourselves into a meeting and learning space in Patagonia, on the shores of Lake General Carrera/Chelenko, where sustainability practices converge, in a context of energy and food sovereignty of a community nature, of a small-scale economy.

In our cabins and surroundings, we want the visitor to live an experience linked to nature and a healthy rural environment, recovering the culture and tradition of living in the countryside.

Puerto Guadal, Aysén Region, Chile

Catalina Bay is located on the Southern Longitudinal Road (Southern Highway) about five hours south of Coyhaique, on the shores of Lake General Carrera. This is about three kilometers south of the lake drain, three kilometers before the junction to Puerto Guadal.

It's a 40-hectare field on a peninsula. There is a waterfall, coigüe forests, ñires, five beaches and hiking trails. We have two kayaks that visitors can use, in addition to fishing on the shores. Of course, there is no telephone or internet signal, leaving Puerto Guadal 15 minutes by car where these services are available. There is fishing in the sector (both on the peninsula of our countryside and in the surrounding area), which can be done from the shore or beach.
