I stayed with Sheri for two weeks after relocating to the area. The room and bed were cozy and the house was quiet. Sheri was very accommodating during my stay and the neighborhood was nice, I highly recommend.
Sheri was very welcoming and the room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Right off the bus route, which was important because I didn't have a car! Would definitely stay here again.
Sheri was a fantastic host, going out of her way to make the stay as comfortable as possible. The room is a spacious with a comfy bed and plenty of space to work at the desk. Close to lots of amenities and only a 20 min drive to downtown Portland. A great place!
Sheri was a great host and was kind enough to let me stay for a longer period while I was hunting for a new apartment. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and she was kind enough to let me use the kitchen area for common places to make dinner. The wifi was also super awesome! I met wonderful people while I was staying here. Definitely would recommend! Thank you for the wonderful stay :)
Sheri was a very nice host. Her home was charming, and the bedroom was comfortable and spacious. She also provided a breakfast of tea, toast and assorted jams and fruit. The neighborhood is very safe and quiet, as well as being close to many conveniences and shopping. I had a lovely stay. Thank you.
Sheri was a fantastic host and made me feel very welcome!
I moved to Oregon a month ago for a new job and ended up staying here while I looked for an apartment. Milwaukie is a very nice town, and it's incredibly easy to get to downtown Portland from here, either via public transit or car.
Sheri has so many suggestions for places to eat around Portland that I still haven't been to all of them! The same goes for activities and places to see!
Sheri was very friendly and welcoming. The listing's description was quite accurate! It was a very comfortable and quiet place to stay, and the other guests were also incredibly friendly.

About the Host, Sheri
I love to travel, most recently to Scotland and Italy but have been to Thailand, Costa Rico, Belgium, Spain, New Zealand, Mexico, Portugal and more. During the warmer months I like to get on the river kayaking, My house is full of books which you are welcome to. I like tea, rocks, playing pool, spicy food, getting together with family and friends, I am an RN in women's health. I eat a vegetarian diet but have no problem if you do not.
I grew up in Portland, lived away for 7 years and returned when I started a family. I raised my 3 daughters essentially on my own with a little help from my folks and siblings. They are grown now and living in Alaska, Scotland and the youngest is only a couple miles away.
I am often away from home for several hours to days or more but can check my email and phone usually.
Smoking is OK on the back patio and front porch if desired. The Portland metro area has much to offer and I like to get out for the experience. I am open but know how to give people their space. Feel free to ask me anything. I enjoy helping people, laughter, new faces and places .There are outdoor cats I take care of and an old Min Pin named Bella that rules the place. She might bark at you or movement or a dog walking down the street but she won't bite and will warm up eventually. Bella has a younger step sister named Gypsy who is a lovable, silly boxer who comes to play sometimes. The house is pet friendly as am I. Your friendly dog up to 50 pounds is welcome for an additional $5 a night. A small kennel and dog bed available if needed. Bike available upon request.
