Our family has spent the last 5 years restoring this lovely historic home, with an eye both on revealing its history as the favourite home of Florence Nightingale, and on recreating a warm and comfortable family home. This is reflected in our collection of elegant period furnishings and interesting historical artefacts related to Nightingale, with comfortable reception rooms warmed by log fires, and tastefully furnished bedroom suites that guarantee a comfortable night's sleep. We also pride ourselves on offering a delicious cooked breakfast with locally sourced ingredients to start your day!
