We loved the apartment: in the old city, close to all major attractions, large enough to accommodate at least 6 people. The service was also great, quick response to our requests. Parking space available if needed.
I am very disappointed with Leah's review. We took care of your apartment, we left a few boxes at the apartment due to poor time management on our part, we left your apartment very early and was instructed by your manager to leave the keys on the door. If you have expected us to clean the apartment for your next guest then that is not right. We followed every house rule you have and there was no mention of making up the room. We left your house with everything intact.
Nonetheless, we enjoyed our stay in your home, it was spacious, and homey. My family enjoyed the first leg of our very long European trip. But the long walks to the city center isn't very fun. The street is boring with little to no shop. The coffee shop across the street is worth trying though!
I would say that it's lovely and spacious and Rachid is very responsive and helpful. The skylights are nice and everything is comfortable. There are actually three bathrooms!
Unfortunately this stay was a complete disappointment. My family and I were really looking forward to staying in this apartment. I had done a lot of research and found this apartment to fit our needs perfectly. However, when we arrived we were shown to a different apartment than the one I reserved and paid for, which did not meet our needs nearly as well. Leah states that the apartment is comparable to the one I reserved, but the sleeping arrangements were not the same. When I contacted her about this, she was less than helpful and even became snide when I contacted airbnb to try to come to a resolution. The whole experience was rather upsetting and I would not recommend her places based solely on the way the situation was handled. The apartment was nice, clean and spacious, but the experience was soured but the attitude of the host.
At the time of check in You were offered and you accepted a perfect apartment, spacious and almost identical to the one you booked which was not available for technical reasons, something that happens rarely. The decor was the same, in the same building and on the first floor not the second. What you call a 'snide' comment with all respect was pointing out a fact, that if your father had trouble negotiating one flight of normal stairs (a) why did you not say anything to my colleague on site who could have put you in another apartment and (b) why did you make your 84 year old father walk from the railway station to the apartment (which is a 10 minute walk if you don't have an elderly person with you). I offered you a discount on your first request of receiving compensation but you did not accept that! You requested a substantial refund of what you paid but at the same time remained in the apartment. I have to say both my colleague and myself found our encounter with you very disturbing and upsetting and we fail to understand the amount of animosity you express considering you were offered a discount and my colleague was on site all the time and offered his assistance but you continually told him everything was fine!
Dear Leah, we have had a wonderful time in Florence. Location was brilliant as a start for cultural walks, food accross the street was very good, the market hall exeptional. We have had the pleasure to have a tour through Florence one day with a guide you have recommended. This turned out to be most interesting with a rather personal touch: It was more than worth it! Rashid was a great daily help and such a complementary person. Thanks for immediate response each time. We can recommend Cellini aptmt. and my familiy has allready asked for a second time. Kind Reagrds Peter
The place was amazing - great location, yet quiet neighborhood. Very spacious with plenty of natural light and all amenities. Leah was very responsive and we had no problems at all - i'd highly recommend!

I'm Leah originally from Australia I lived for 14 years in Florence, Italy where I still have active contacts. For the past year I have lived in Marrakech, Morocco a vibrant town pulsating in exotic sounds and sites. I love living here; the people, the food, the landscape, the religion, the architecture and the music...
Travel expands our life experience, paradoxically encountering people and places out of our daily routines and comfort zones increases understanding of ourselves and those close to us...
Marrakech is music to the ears!
