I'm pretty darn sure that this is one of the most beautiful places you can actually rent in Venice. I stayed there with my family over new years eve. We arrived shortly after christmas and we were welcomed not only with a christmas cake but also with champagne for celebrating the new year and a full fridge. Awesome. Silivia and Manuel have been crazy friendly and welcoming and made us feel home in minutes. They gave us lots of precious recommendations for our stay in Venice. Of which one of the most important ones was where to get more of the delicious sweets they left for us in the flat. :) Did I mention the flat is stunning? Yes? No problem. It is actually so stunning that I write this two times. Furniture is totally tasteful, room height is massive, super beautiful details everywhere like frameless doors, bespoke fixtures, beautiful little things from everywhere in the world scattered all over the place, very beautiful stone floor. I just don't know where to stop. We actually liked the flat so much that we spend much of our time inside. And the weather being freezing outside was for sure not the only reason for doing this. Not even Manuels offer to take us for a boat trip could make us leave the cozy sofa in the snow white living room. :)
Silvia and her husband were really nice and helpful! they introduced us to the nicest restaurant I have ever had in Venice and their apartment were just amazing, and it looked even better and bigger than the pictures on the website. choose Silvia's flat over a hotel is the best decision.
Will definitely stay there again!
This was by far the best AirBnB experience we've had from the many places we've rented, based primarily on the graciousness and friendliness of the host. Silvia welcomed us to the apartment and gave us some great tips about travel and dining in Venice. Her restaurant and gelato recommendations were superb, and made our stay even more special.
The flat itself is excellently located between the main train station and Rialto bridge. We had no trouble walking or boating to various parts of the city.
Amenities in the apartment were superb, including a fully stocked kitchen. Silvia was even kind enough to buy milk, tea, coffee, and fruit for us to get started.
Wifi worked flawlessly, as did the washer, dishwasher, and all the appliances. The only issue we hit was that the main fuse would often reset; you apparently have to be pretty careful not to run too many appliances at once. But reseting the fuse was easy, and we learned to stay under the limits.
I've truly not had a more positive AirBnB experience in my entire time as a member, so I must recommend this as a premier experience to be had! Our family had a wonderful stay at Silvia's place, which I'll highly recommend to others. We'll definitely stay here in future visits to Venice!
really too kind!
I am very pleased that you were well and hope that the next time your stay will be longer in the summer so maybe we can take a tour with our boat for the canals of Venice.
Unfortunately, the limit of electricity in Italy is very low, I'm sorry.
thanks again and kiss the children
Silvia has a fab apartment and she and her husband Manuel were very accommodating when we wanted to change sleeping arrangements at the last minute, turning a double bed into two singles. There was fruit, milk and all sorts of other bits and pieces to help us feel at home. In addition, Manuel was a great source of local knowledge for bars and restaurants - really helped us feel like venetians rather than tourists. And finally, Manuel took us for a fabulous boat trip around Venice, Grand canal and many of the backwaters - a truly great way to see venice. This was by no means cheap, but was certainly a reasonable price for a fantastic experience. Only downside was that as first time Venice visitors, we were unprepared for the spectre of nocturnal mosquitoes and the consequent bites! So do be warned if you're visiting Venice in warm weather!
LOVED our stay. comfortable, lovely hosts with great advice, good location close to cafes and the vaporetto station. would definitely stay here again!
I just wanted to thank you for all your wonderful recommendations of things for us to see and do in Venice and also for presenting the apartment so beautifully, we've had the most incredible stay here.
Our stay in this amazing, modern, cool looking apartment was fantastic!
It was extremely well stocked with extra linen, washing machine, kitchen supplies etc.
Silvia and Mani were so helpful- they recommended restaurants and directions to shops and even took us out on their private boat for a personal tour of the canals!
They treated us like family and we loved it!
Thank you for making our Venezia visit worth while.
We had a wonderful stay at Slivia's. The apartment is as gorgeous as reflected in the photos and Slivia was really lovely and helpful! I would definitely recommend the apartment to anyone wanting to stay in Venice. The location is great as well!
