Rachid provided excellent assistance. There was some initial confusion at check in but everything was resolved. The unit was perfect for our needs.
The apartment is located in a very nice building, about a 10 minute walk from the Palazzo Vecchio. The Duomo is a considerable walk further, probably 20-25 minutes, but not horrible. The onsite parking was ideal - you can't really drive in Florence (well, not in the touristic center, anyway) and having somewhere to leave the car off the street during our stay was great for us.
Check-in was easy and fast. We were shown the space by the onsite resident manager, who also gave us great ideas for things to visit, places to shop, and restaurants. One not to be missed is directly across the street, in what used to be a Napoleonic prison! Very good food, and a beautiful courtyard for a nice outdoor dining experience.
The unit itself was nice, though a bit spare in its decor, especially in the living room/kitchen area. While we selected the until in large part because of the outdoor balcony area, in truth we didn't use it much because a) the view was nothing great, and more importantly, b) we were unaware of how bad the summer mosquito infestation in Italy can be in the summer. So, we went out there to enjoy it one evening, but came back in fairly soon after being bitten up.
Leah was very communicative throughout the process, and we would recommend this apartment.
