About This Listing
In the peaceful GGPark area w/easy access downtown, my king-sized MasterSuite is a brand new kitchenless studio with independent entrance. Come stay 2blocks from the nerve center of Inner Sunset, restaurants galore, with deck over green spaces, 4 blocks from UCSF! Private luxurious walk in shower, soaking tub.
This master suite is really a convenient, kitchenless studio on the 3rd floor of my house! It has a separate entrance, so you can come and go as you please as (this is set up as a separate unit inside my home). With a comfy firm bed, new bathroom and fixtures, refrigerator, microwave, espresso maker, flat screen tv (with Roku 3: Netflix, Hulu, etc) and love seat, plus a small table and chairs, there's also plenty of space to hang out. There is a complete set of dishes, glassware and utensils for breakfasts, etc. Best of all, add a deck to catch whatever sun there might be to the mix. (Please note 3rd floor - not hard, but two flight walk up) The soaking tub helps you relax after a long day, or just take a rain shower in the walk in. It is a 25 minute ride downtown by train 2 blocks away. UCSF is 4 blocks away! I hope you love it as much as I do!
Independent Deck overlooking yards/green spaces.
Washer/Dryer available for your use on same floor.
UCSF only 4 blocks away.
PARKING - Street parking in the neighborhood is usually good, there is no parking space with the unit.
(Also this is good to know for most neighborhoods in San Francisco: There is a 2 hour limit weekdays from 8a-6p. Effectively what this means is you have to move your car if the tire is marked between 10am and 4pm. Overnights and weekends there is no time limit.)
Interaction with Guests
I am happy to answer any questions in person or via text, you'll probably want me to stop making suggestions for things to do and places to try, and hearing people's stories makes me exceedingly happy.
Eclecticism with a family atmosphere made even better by the huge green space of Golden Gate Park 3 blocks over. It is also a 4 block walk to the University of California, San Francisco - UCSF is CA's premier teaching hospital.
Within the distance of a short 5 minute walk, you have the heart of the Inner Sunset - a zillion restaurants, cafes and bakeries to browse at, the Botanical Garden, DeYoung Museum and the California Academy of Sciences to amuse and educate your brain, and an entire park leading down to the ocean for picnics and meandering.
And on top of all that, it is a 25 min MUNI ride by train down to Union Square, Embarcadero and the heart of the urban city.
The MUNI train line N-Judah stops 2 blocks away, with multiple options of bus lines which will take you downtown (N, 6 or 71) to the Haight (6 or 71), Cole Valley (N), the Richmond or the Presidio (44), Ocean Beach (N) and many places in the city. Not to mention affordable Uber/Lyft etc for a more direct ride to the Castro, Mission, North Beach, Marina, etc.
Other Things to Note
Choose from an espresso maker, coffee maker w/ thermal carafe or hot water kettle for your morning americano, espresso shot or tea. A small refrigerator, toaster, microwave, cups, dishes and utensils are also there for your use.

California is currently suffering its worst drought on record. The Governor has imposed a mandatory reduction of consumption by 25%. Please help by refraining from taking long showers, and not running the tap while shaving or brushing your teeth.
San Franciscans are proud to be the #1 city in the USA for composting and recycling. There are recycling and compost containers for your water bottles, coffee grounds, banana peels and pizza boxes. Please ask if you have questions!

We had a great time in SF. Kelly's apartment was immaculate and well appointed. The private entrance made it super convenient. Kelly was really responsive to our questions and made great recommendations about the local area. Highly recommended.
My parents stayed here for 3 days this week. Kelly's house is beautiful and has everything you could need for your stay, including some outdoor space if the weather is nice. She was also a great host, available anytime there were questions. I will definitely use her house next time my parents come out to visit, it was perfect.
Kelly's place is amazing!!! I am totally obsessed with the rain shower, the blackout shades, and the quaint setup she's created. The place is conveniently located within a 5-minute walk of the N Muni. Kelly left detailed instructions that made accessing the apartment very easy. The space comes with all the trimmings: walk-in closet, huge TV, and a spacious outdoor deck. Had I had the opportunity to hang around the apartment longer, I would have definitely taken advantage of the deck & the awesome view it has! Would highly recommend this place for anyone who wants to take the time to smell the roses & see the sights of the Inner Sunset!
I have done many Airbnb stays and Kelly's place is on top of the list. The place is immaculate. I was very impressed by the fine details, for example, there's a remote control for the curtains! I went out on the deck for stargazing and was in awe. The apartment is a few blocks from Golden Gate Park, lots of restaurants and coffee shops around to chose from. A $30 uber ride to and from SFO. Kelly is the kindest hostess, super friendly, easy to reach via phone or in person. I really like this place and am looking forward to have my friends and family stay here when they come to town.
My host Kelly greeted me and made me feel welcome. She even provided me with espresso. Nice and quiet neighborhood. It was close to UCSF Parnassus which mattered to me. The room is fantastic, with a nice separate bathroom including a shower and a bathtub. This room is as it is described by the host.

About the Host, Kelly
My name is Kelly Riggio, I am a graphic designer who has lived in the Inner Sunset in San Francisco for the past 16 years, and I finally get a chance to host newcomers to my neighborhood and give them the lowdown on the things I love here the most!
I come from a restaurant family, and enjoy helping people have memorable experiences that don't come from a cookie-cutter. My goal in being an Airbnb host is to provide a safe, beautiful, comfortable space in my house that leaves my guests flexibility to come and go when they want, with an option to connect to someone who loves this town and wants to show outsiders the inside!
Favorite Travel Destinations are: Italy, Ireland, Istanbul, Cooper Island in the BVI, the Yucatán, Senegal.
Technically I am way too old to love Harry Potter, but what can I say, I bought the last book of the series when I happened to be in London the day it was released (no, I did not wear a costume to buy it, tempting though it was!), and finished it on the flight home to the states. Other authors one shouldn't live without are Diana Wynne Jones, C.S. Lewis, William Gibson, J.R.R Tolkien, Larry McMurtry, Tamora Pierce, Roald Dahl & Lynda Barry (who is funkqueen of the universe).
Bomb diggety pecan rolls, muffins and scones for breakfast, and insanely good warm foccacias with all sorts of toppings for lunch!
Really sweet wine bar - elegant and a great place to have a drink and small bites. Many options and very friendly service.
This place is cute, always clean, usually busy because of the delicious Japanese hot pot, where you add your ingredients to the mini cauldron cooking on your table - fun! Veggies, proteins, noodles!
Japanese Sushi: I almost don't want to tell you about this one, because it is my favorite sushi place in the entire city, a big clue. My friends come eat here from the Mission, and not bc I am here!
Great Vietnamese place, family friendly, high quality food, not overly priced. The chicken wings are like chicken crack, irresistable. The pho broth is really really good, pho soup is healthy too!
I like the eclectic and always friendly approach of this restaurant, with great semi outdoor seating upstairs or cozy fireside seating indoors. American/Asian/Italian options on the menu, and all good
Thai - one of the best in the city, and I am not bragging for my 'hood - if you are lucky, Marnee herself might be there and have a chat with you - she reads people very well. The food is guaranteed!
Upscale Mexican with some killer margaritas and amazing food - you must have the Totopos Con Chile:
tortilla chips, salsa, cotija cheese, crema & lime. Some outdoor seating as well.
