The nice was nice as expected, had everything we need and very close to the city
A great stay in Philly from beginning to end! Allen was beyond gracious in picking us up from the train station and bringing us right up to the apartment and showing us around the place. The Apt. was just beautiful, could not have asked for a better place! I highly recommend.
A really nice and big accomodation.
We found this flat in a really good and clean shape. The concierge was very friendly and gave us support in all questions we had.
Easy to get access to the former capitol of the US.
We had a great stay. Beautiful apartment and view. Great communication by the host and directions were perfect. Location was nice and lots of food options within walking distance. We loved Philly and this apartment.
Due to an honest mixup, this apartment turned out not to be available for our trip. We learned of this one week before our scheduled arrival date, when Steve (host) contacted us via email. Within the span of a couple of hours of receiving his message, we exchanged a number of emails about the situation, then arranged to talk by phone the following day. Thank goodness that, despite a massive convention having booked most of the available space in the city, Steve was able to offer us a just-finished apartment at 2040 Market St.
Although the apartment was smaller by one bedroom and one bathroom than the one we had anticipated, it was truly lovely. A wall of windows looked out over the city, the apartment was decorated nicely and the kitchen well-appointed with cooking & baking equipment, as well as coffee-maker, toaster, blender, iron & ironing board. There were plenty of towels & hangers. It needed some more lighting, but since the apartment had just been opened, we figured that would be changed in the future. We made a few suggestions of things that would have perfected an already nice apartment and Steve was very open to hearing these.
Steve wanted only one thing: to make sure we were comfortable and happy in the apartment. He was kind, honest, and understanding, communicating regularly before and throughout our stay. It was a little like having our own guardian angel.
If there's ever another opportunity to book a place with UrHome InPhilly (AKA, Steve), we won't hesitate. You shouldn't either.
Our stay with UrHome inPhilly was fantastic. The six of us had plenty of room, the location was perfect for us, and Steve was incredibly helpful leading up to the weekend and throughout our stay. The space is exactly as described - beautifully furnished with an incredible view through the huge, light-filled windows. The gym and the pool are easily accessible and really great additions. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the pull-out couch received no complaints.
All of us would highly, highly recommend staying here if you have a group coming to Philly. It's really hard to imagine the trip going any better than it did.
What a great find! Steve was a fantastic host and maintained contact with us during our stay to be sure we had everything we needed. Will the building manager went above and beyond the call to accommodate our needs. Although we were in Philly for work we were made to feel like visiting royalty! We will be back next year!

About the Host, UrHome
Ur Home in Philly is not a neon sign. We’re focused on each guest’s personal experience while they’re staying at one of our locations. But there are some advantages to choosing us for your short-term stay in Philadelphia that go beyond the customer service I provide to our guests.
Hotel rooms are notoriously identical to one another: they’re small, cramped, sparsely-furnished places few people look forward to when planning a business or vacation trip. And whether you’re using a company credit card or paying out of your own pocket, have you ever felt like the cost truly matched the value of what you got in return?
The answer, for most of us, is no. Hotels are undersized, overpriced, and isolating. I started Ur Home in Philly because I realized that there is an opportunity to change that sense of being ripped off or crammed in at hotels. All it takes is a refusal to do things the way hotels do them, and a focus on actually providing real value for every dollar your guests spend.
For example, our properties are not rooms, they’re homes. These fully-furnished apartments provide all of the comfort, space, and amenities that a hotel room lacks. Philadelphia has a delicious restaurant scene, but sometimes you want to cook something up yourself. Our monthly rentals include fully-equipped kitchens and dining rooms, allowing you enjoy a home-cooked meal any time.
In fact, our properties are not only homes in and of themselves, but most are situated within upscale buildings full of long-term residents. There are no suspicious transient guests, just Philadelphians proud of their communities. As our comparison page illustrates, our offerings are all at least twice as large as the average hotel room. One of Philadelphia’s most highly-rated hotels will charge you prices comparable to ours but provide only 364 square feet. Again, that’s half of the space we give you. And there’s no kitchen, no dining room, no living room, no bedroom. That’s because it’s just your hotel in Philly. And, for your money, why not get a temporary home in Philly?
