Number one 3-5 bedroom house in Phoenix for a reason! Check out the pics, read the reviews, and see why so many people choose my home.
My home has 4 bedrooms (3 queen size beds and 1 full) and is great for a trip away from the cold. The 8 foot deep diving pool is large and refreshing for the warm days. There are plenty of fun floating devices, towels, as well as a new volleyball net to enjoy!
Located in a safe, quiet neighborhood near interstate 17. Conveniently located in central Phoenix, 10-15 minutes from downtown. Near the sports teams, 10-15 minutes from the Suns, Cardinals and Coyotes stadiums and 20 minutes from the airport. Plenty of parking in the driveway, free wireless internet, a large flat screen TV with DirectTV and DVR. We also have Netflix and occasionally have 50 movie channels included. Bathroom has new finishings, new tile floors. Backyard has a nice view and includes a barbecue and tiki bar. Many parks nearby to relax, walk, etc.
See my reviews for how happy my visitors have been with our home! Please however be aware my home is not a resort; it is literally my home. This means that there may be minor imperfections such as a spot on the ceiling, paint touch-ups needed, etc. If you are not OK with this then you should rent a hotel room. If you think it may be cool to live in the nice house of a true Phoenician then please make the reservation :-)
Please be accurate with the number of guests staying so I can assure there will be appropriate accommodations.
The whole house (all 4 bedrooms) are available to my guests.
Interaction with Guests
I chat frequently by text with all my guests. Anyone that needs anything is responded to generally within 10 minutes. Occasionally my guests ask to meet me and I of course love to do so :-)
My neighborhood is very quiet and friendly. There are many kids on bikes and friendly neighbors that can be found right outside the front door.
There are three beautiful public golf courses near my house with prices as low as $9 per 9 holes. You can book these online in advance using the city of Phoenix website.
Also, if you like to bicycle, I live right on the bike path which connects all of central Phoenix. I especially enjoy biking all the way downtown without touching a busy street.
I would recommend to rent a car whenever in Phoenix as the city is very spread out and public transportation is not great overall. Generally you can get a car for $25 a day if you rent in advance and take the car from the PHX airport.
Absolutely no smoking in the house. Additionally, if you are smoking on the patio please make sure all doors and windows are closed so the smoke doesn't enter the house.
Eric was easy and effective to communicate with. Definitely meshed with our low-maintenace group!
The location was ideal for accessing the multiple areas of Phoenix that we needed to get to. Meanwhile the local neighbourhood was quiet and very close to many amenities such as groceries and restaurants.
The house was as advertised and the four separate bedrooms made our stay especially comfortable! Lots of space to relax, both indoors and out by the pool! Also appreciated was the well stocked supplies like towels, plates, etc.
Exactly what I was looking for clean, spacious, and good AC. My family really enjoyed the house
Was a great stay for my wife and 3 children (12, 10, 8). Eric was very helpful. A nice home to stay in with children, kids loved the pool. Saved a lot of money cooking and staying at house for meals. Beds were comfortable. Wireless internet a plus. Would stay again.
The home worked out perfect for our family. Great location in Phoenix and the pool was wonderful to have available. Eric was very easy to work with.
My husband and I stayed here with his family for a short weekend getaway trip. We were very excited because it featured a pool, a full kitchen and enough room for all 8 of us. Upon arrival, we discovered that:
A. The neighborhood is not very nice.
B. Pool and kitchen were rather dirty.
C. Essential items in the kitchen were missing, e.g. like trash bags
D. The furniture was falling apart! (Thank goodness we noticed before the dining table chair broke on someone)
There was a note from the past AirBNB traveler out on the counter, which made me think that he hadn't been in the home since then... Which then made me wonder if the place was clean? It was, but not enough to put the baby down to crawl. I think if you are going to charge a $75 dollar cleaning fee, then you should do a better job of cleaning.
Overall, I guess you get what you pay for. We did end up enjoying the pool (after a thorough cleaning with the skimmer) and we did cook breakfast in, but I think he should've been a little more straightforward about the features and details of the home. If you are looking for a place to stay in Phoenix for more than 5 people, there aren't too many options for a reasonable price. That makes this place a viable choice, just be sure to come in with low expectations.
House was perfect for our needs. Central location for everything in Phoenix if using a car. Eric was very helpful and available when needed. He was nice enough to leave drinks for us. The house was very clean and felt "home like." No issues at all. The neighborhood was quite and safe. I highly recommend this place to fit your needs. I know I will be renting this house again in the near future.
We had a great stay in Phoenix!
The house was in a great location and really easy to find. Every major location (tempe, scottsdale, etc) is about a 20ish minute drive - like everywhere in AZ.
Eric was a great host. He was very prompt in responding to texts/calls when I had questions. I highly recommend this house
