The Hideaway is an enchanting one room casita situated on the outer crest of the property, The Confluence. Wake up to the sunrise with a lush *View* of the natural countryside from your private deck. The Hideaway is accessed by a foot path (200ft) from the Main House. The Private Bathroom is off of the Main House with a private entrance (200ft from room). From the parking area to the room, it is roughly 400ft.

The space
There is no kitchen available for use, a mini fridge is provided.
Proper heating (heater & wood stove) and cooling (AC & fans) devices are in the casita.
Tea, water, and coffee are available along with an electric tea kettle and french press.
Eating utensils are not provided.
The Wifi generally works great. The network itself can be spotty at times because of our location in the foothills. The casita has a wifi extender that boosts the signal.

The Hideaway & The Confluence are located in Vallecito, CA. Towns surrounding Vallecito are Murphys, Angel's Camp, Columbia and a little further down the road, Sonora, Arnold, & Bear Valley. Guests can enjoy wine tasting, fine+casual dining and shopping in the nearest, quaint town of Murphys, just 8 minutes down the road. Local events and concerts can be attended at Brice Station Vineyards and Ironstone. We are half way between Lake Tahoe and Yosemite. Local coffee can be found at Gold Country Roasters. Murphys Certified Farmers Market is EVERY Sunday in Murphys Community Park. Delicious fresh baked goods and espresso can be enjoyed at Aria.

Local hikes, swimming spots and nature escapes include Natural Bridges (6 minutes down the road), Camp Nine, and Big Trees State Park (half an hour up the road). A short jaunt to Bear Valley for winter skiing or summer hiking, rock climbing, and swimming. We are conveniently located about halfway between Yosemite(about 2 hours) and Lake Tahoe(about 3 hours).
