The Space

Come relax and read a book on the front porch of my quaint 4 bedroom gambrel colonial home surrounded by beautiful flower gardens. Located in the center of the state, we are just a 5 min drive from TFGreen airport, 10 mins away from Providence, 1.5hr away from Boston, and only 45 mins from the amazing south county beaches.

My home is located in the heart of Historic Pawtuxet Village in Warwick, RI. Enjoy the refreshing breeze Narraganset Bay has to offer while soaking up its breathtaking water views. My home is walking distance to the local Irish pub, cafes, restaurants, ice cream shop and it even has a mom and pop grocery store.

Warwick is a great midpoint between NYC and Boston.I am minutes away from TF green airport, the train station, and there is even a bus stop near the end of my street.

I currently live here with my coworker but we also have 2 cats and three dogs so animal lovers are a plus!

The grounds offer a back private fenced in patio that overlooks a tranquil koi pond. It is surrounded by flower and vegetable gardens and includes a BBQ and patio table that seats 6.

  • Jen was a friendly and gracious host for my husband, our baby, and me during our few days in the Providence area. She was very easy to communicate with and made us all feel right at home. Her home is just as charming as it looks in the pictures. We especially enjoyed sitting outside for dinner in the lovely backyard. Jen has three dogs and a cat all of whom are very friendly. A couple of the dogs are kind of excitable, and we were a little nervous about trying to put our baby down to sleep. But, Jen was very thoughtful in trying to keep them quiet. Also, the bathroom only has a shower stall, not a tub. We usually give our little guy a bath in the tub before bed, so we just adapted our routine to a little sponge bath each night.

Pawtuxet Village is a sweet little area. We enjoyed walking to the village for breakfast at The Water's Edge Cafe and strolling through the park with our little one. We also had a great trip to the zoo which is only a few miles away from the house.

I was in town for a conference at the Convention Center, and it was an easy 15 minute drive into downtown Providence. Very convenient!

I would highly recommend staying with Jen in her lovely home if your travels take your through Providence!

  • Perfect! This is a great location to access providence and it's a easy drive to Newport and the other south beaches. And the town itself has a beautiful harbor and beachy feel. The room and the shared bathroom were nice and clean. I didn't have a chance to meet Jennifer but she was very accommodating with our late arrival. Overall, a great location and room. Definitely a better alternative to staying in a hotel.

  • Warwick is solid town. The town was hosting the Gaspee Days, a very cool event that commemorates the burning of the Gaspee. Easy to walk around town and very inviting to do so.

Jennifer was fantastic! Very accommodating. Clean. Friendly. "Make yourself at home". Non intrusive. I would definitely stay here again.

She let us arrive at the house however late we wanted.

  • We had a great stay. The house is cute and welcoming. We had a great time relaxing on the patio in the backyard. Jen's pets are so sweet and they really helped to make us feel at home. The neighborhood is wonderful and within walking distance to great food, including places for ice cream, sit down dinner, and coffee. The quaint little village really had everything we needed.

  • Great area and easy walking to the town with restaurants and shops. Lovely gardens and Koi pond. Our room was basic with a shared bath with several other guests.

  • We enjoyed our stay with easy access to Providence. The house was well located within easy walking distance of the small downtown area with good food. Jennifer provided us with useful information about the various eateries. Our room shared a bath with three other rooms, but this did not seem to be a problem.

  • I only stayed one night, but Jennifer's house was very welcoming and easy to find. The nearby village is super cute, and I wish I could have stayed longer!

  • My daughter and I stayed with Jennifer for 2 nights for a special girls trip to help celebrate her 9th birthday and visit with a friend in the area. Jennifer was a very sweet and very accessible hostess. We had everything we needed, and had the ability to come and go as we wanted. We checked in early and checked out late, which was really helpful. Bed was super comfortable. We enjoyed her pets, but Oliver, her cat was a particular joy. He slept on my chest since we left the bedroom door cracked open. I miss Oliver...
The location is terrific!! It's a lovely 5-10 minute walk to a short block of about a dozen restaurants and treat shops. My daughter and I walked down there about 6 times. We had crepes 3 times at the Elephant Room - outstanding!!! There are gourmet treat shops (baked goods, homemade chocolates, candies, etc) and coffee/sandwich shops, and pizza, and Chinese and Thai food, as well as American fare. The restaurants looked like those you would find in trendy village/neighborhoods (reminded me of Cape Cod, or Breckenridge CO), but at affordable costs!

We drove all over, and each drive was only about 10-15 minutes. We were very close to the airport, Roger Williams Park - where the zoo is, Providence Place Mall, and downtown Providence/Brown University. If you are traveling with kids, I would recommend the Brown Street Park playground at the corner of Brown and Creighton.
