This neighborhood is wonderful. Quiet treelined streets with plenty of cafe's and restaurants to explore. Local grocers and in spring and summer there are free concerts and farmers markets in several parks in the area. We've got a brand new bar on 7th avenue that is laid back with a neighborhood vibe. I am grateful to live in this spectacular neighborhood.

Jeanine's Studio was exactly what we were looking for! First, she was in constant (an instantaneous) communication with us on any questions we had. This was really impressive. It is located in a great area (Park Slope), within feet of 7th Ave which has everything you could possibly need (stores, restaurants, coffee shops, etc.) The apartment building is very quiet and the neighborhood is a very peaceful place. Her unit is homey and cozy has more decorative pillows than most department stores . . . ha! We highly endorse Jeanine and her Studio!
We had a superb 4 week stay at Jeanine's. Jeanine is super lovely and fast to respond to any questions. Unfortunately we only got to chat while collecting the keys and didn't get to see her again, we would have loved to hang out as she seemed fun and interesting! The space was perfect for a couple. Super comfy bed, space to lounge, and everything in the kitchen that you would need. We didn't try the washing machines in the building, as there are plenty of laundromats close by on 7th (cheap and fast) and why waste your time in New York doing the mundane? The area is fabulous! Some local faves include Mr limes (which has great prices on fruit and veg and seems always open), 7th av doughnut (24 hr diner) and shinju (cheap Japanese). Over on 3rd Ave is four and twenty blackbirds, fletcher's, the bell house always has good stuff on, and the whole foods market is truly inspiring. Not to mention great shops and stacks of restaurants so close on 5th Ave. It is a sincerely safe and short walk to the F or G (and the R is not too far too) trains which are super handy for getting not only to manhattan but up to williamsburg as well. The listing is perfectly accurate. We highly recommend this place and would love to stay again. Thanks so much for having us Jeanine!
I wish we could have hung out too :) Mr Lime's is open under new management just this past August so you got the benefit of the best new green grocers in NYC ;) It was wonderful having you hope you had a peaceful trip back home and you are always welcome here in Bklyn. :)
Jeanine was such a great host! Super easy to communicate with and very welcoming.
The apartment was lovely, just as pictured, and the area was safe, quiet, and convenient.
Jeanine was very attentive and always available to answer all our questions instantly. We had a great month in her apartment. The neighborhood is fantastic, a couple of blocks away from Prospect Park and the Subway, and close to many restaurants and cafes. The apartment is confortable and well equipped, the Internet connection is fast and reliable, and we only had to use the AC twice in July. During our time here there was construction during the daytime, so it was hard to work from home, but not after 4:30pm. Overall a very good experience and a great host.
The reservation was canceled 44 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
I really enjoyed my stay in Jeanine's apartment.
It is in a great location - minutes away from subway, prospect park, grocery store and loads of shops.
Her apartment is cosy, colorful and quiet.
Jeanine was really helpful and responded to my emails/text messages quickly.
My boyfriend and I had such a great experience staying here! Jeanine was great from the very beginning. Being new to air bnb, I messaged Jeanine with some questions and right away I got a friendly response. Jeanine was very generous and left us a delicious homemade lentil dish that she insisted we eat! We felt right at home. The apartment was perfect for a couple, private and comfy and in a really beautiful neighborhood. I would love to come back here and am so grateful to Jeanine for being such a lovely, welcoming host.
I love to travel. Living in Brooklyn is truly a blessing. My life motto is Dance, Cook, Eat in community for life!
