The flat is very well located in the center of Athens with a great terrace and everything you need for your stay. Michele is a very nice host who will make you feel very welcome . She provided me with great breakfasts every morning :)
I stayed at Michele's Kolonaki Penthouse for 9 days and enjoyed my stay. Michele is so kind and brought her TV into the Penthouse so that I can watch Greek TV. The Penthouse is so spacious and comfortable to stay due to nice wind even in summer. Location is perfect and you can go to Sintagma Sq on foot. Thanks Michele.
About the Host, Michele
I am a photographer living in Kolonaki. I studied in the US at Rhode Island School of Design and then moved back here, where I became a photojournalist working for Time, Newsweek and the InterNational Herald Tribune. Living across the hall from the rental apartment, if you need any info or help I am not far away ! Five things i can not live without are : The sea , nature, oxygen, my dog and veranda.
In Greece my favourite travel destinations are :the islands, Peloponesse and I recently was awed by Meteora...Suspened in air...I swim everyday in Vouliagmeni a 30 min drive from here. I enjoy fresh food and fish in the summer. I like reading 19th century romantic fiction such as Melville and Austen...A real movie buff , I have seen thousands of movies. Lately I enjoyed seeing the Dark Shadows remake.
Live and let live; that is my motto.
