House Rules

Breakfast is included with your stay and made to your order each morning. You may use the kitchen for lunch and dinner to prepare your meals. A guest fridge is available for food only. We offer beer, wine and soda for your convenience and as a result do not allow you to bring it in.

We ask only that you respect the privacy of our other guests. No drug or excessive alcohol use allowed on the property. No smoking within the gates of the property.

We love friends as much as you do, however, please clear with management before bringing your friends on premise.

Children are adorable, however, if you have a small child and allowing them to cry themselves to sleep each night is the norm, please do not book with us. The property is intimate, and your crying child becomes a disturbance for others.

Laundry is available at $10 per load. Roxana will be happy to take care of it for you.

We enjoyed being able to cook in a real kitchen, and one with some view. We had a couple of group meals with some of the other guests. The pool is lovely and staff very helpful.

Great place. Wonderful host and staff. The place is beautiful and felt like a home away from home.

My friend and I stayed here over the Christmas & New Years Holiday. We had a great time and really enjoyed this place. The staff was very helpful, friendly, and would arrange activities for us, including ziplining, horseback riding, and transportation to and from the airport. Alexa was always quick to respond to any questions prior to our arrival. The beach is a 10-15 minute walk and easy to do. It is a quiet place with a beautiful view of the ocean. I would recommend to anyone wanting to experience Nosara but not be right in town.

Bella Vista Mar is a lovely gem hidden on a hilltop near Playa Pelada. The communal areas are especially fabulous. The pool is clean and the sunset view from the balcony is incredible! It was also nice to have wine & beer available for purchase from the shared kitchen fridge. The room was very basic but clean and comfortable. The showers were warm but be aware there is no AC. Luckily, we didn't need it while we were there as there was a nice breeze but you should be aware anyway. Oh, and the sound of howler monkeys around 4am was pretty "interesting". Ha! You'll know what I mean once you hear them (kinda scary). Our hostesses were lovely and very helpful and our room was cleaned daily. Breakfast was yummy, especially the eggs, banana pancakes and fruit juice. As far as getting there, it is indeed a bit of a challenge, even in our 4WD SUV. However, this is the case with getting around anywhere in this area. The roads are ROUGH! Put on your cowboy hat and enjoy the bumpy ride! We ended up spending most of our time in nearby Playa Guiones as they had more activity (restaurants, nightlife, shops, etc) and we found that more appealing. Playa Pelada was a VERY quiet beach. I highly recommend checking out the Nosara Yoga Institute at the Bodhi Tree Resort. It's a fabulous place to take a class and grab a juice or smoothie in a magical environment. We also really loved the Beachdog Cafe which has delicious, nutritious superfoods and great live music in the evenings. Enjoy!
