Capture the spirit of 1960s American wanderlust in a gleaming 1969 Airstream. Painstakingly restored with period décor. We added our "aluminum guest house" to our back yard with a 100 foot crane!

The space
As seen in Condé Nast and The New York Times!
We added our "aluminum guest house" to our back yard with a 100 foot tall crane- up and over our 2 story house. We spent a year gutting it to the bare aluminum shell and then rebuilding it. Everyone pitched in, it was a 3 generation family project that turned out exactly as we envisioned it: A clean new modern space inside the iconic mid century Airstream silver bullet shape. It turns out to have very good fung shui and creates a peaceful, cozy feeling. We call it "The Haven." People always smile the moment they see it, and take pictures when they leave.
Our 1969 Airstream International is outfitted with guests in mind. Our back yard is quiet, green and private. Inside is plenty of headroom, clean modern amenities, new plumbing, delightful 1969 Vintage décor. Designed to be a totally a comfortable space for travelers and visitors, we use spa-quality products for the full size shower, 2 reading lamps and 1000 thread count sheets on the exceptionally comfortable queen size bed. Guests have Fiber Optic service WIFI and Premium cable TV to enjoy and a lava lamp.
The kitchen is well equipped and all appliances are brand new and Retro Red. The dishes are vintage California pottery. Our “Haven” doesn’t travel any more but the unique Airstream experience here makes people happy. It is a perfect get away for celebration and romance, for rest or attending an event in the area, writing, reading, escaping, visiting family nearby.
