Ihastuin monia vuosia sitten Rukan upeisiin hiihtomaisemiin. Kun sitten oli mahdollista rakentaa oma mökki, toiveenani oli helppo pääsy kunnostetuille hiihtoladuille ja leivinuuni. Puolisoni rakensi mökin jossa nämä toiveeni toteutuivat.
Rukan hiihtokausi on upea mutta myös kesällä ja syksyllä riittää tekemistä. Hyvänä marjavuotena poimin hilloja, mustikoita ja puolukoita mökin lähiympäristöstä.
Mökin varusteluun sisältyy kaksi maastopyörää ja voin vakuuttaa, että pyöräillen maisemat ja oma kunto kannattaa testata.
Se leivinuuni sitten. Siinä onkin haastetta mutta kannattaa kokeilla vaikka ei olisi aikaisempaa uunin lämmitys kokemusta. Ihana lämpö ja pitkään haudutettu uuniruoka tai vaikkapa leipominen luo kodikasta tunnelmaa.
