About this listing
Private hot tub overlooking the ocean and harbor. Romantic, relaxed getaway or rejuvenating adventure, you'll find it here. Experience one of the best ocean views on the Oregon coast from your own room and deck. You will not be disappointed. Over 250 couples have rated it 5 Star!
The Mermaid guest suite is in a separate wing of the house and consists of bedroom with king size opium bed and a living room with sofa that can be opened up into a queen sized bed. (There is a small extra charge if you have more than two guests in your party.) The suite overlooks the ocean and harbor with mountain foothills in the background. The king sized bed is handmade from an antique opium bed, but with the modern comfort of a Chattam & Wells pillow top mattress. (We understand the importance of a good night's sleep!) Just through the sliding glass doors of your living room is a large deck with hot tub overlooking the ocean. We have a private acre lot so bathing suits are optional! Here you can relax and watch the moon glistening on the waves, the fishing boats arriving and departing, or the fog creeping down the mountains. Observant guests may see osprey, otters, harbor seals, sea lions, whales, or even the occasional mermaid.
You are welcome to use our large front room, joining us in lively conversation or reading a book and sipping on a glass of Oregon wine. For the music lover we have a baby grand piano for you to play while we form an appreciative audience.
Brookings-Harbor is on the Wild Rivers Coast of Oregon, 20 miles north of Crescent City, California and midway between Portland and San Francisco. We enjoy a variety of natural beauty in this area, from some of the oldest Redwood groves to whitewater rivers to sand dunes to our beautiful rocky coast. We can point you to innumerable hiking trails along the coast or in nearby redwood forests.
