The Space

I love contemporary architecture so my apartment its all in a modern design, including clean lines, open spaces, natural light through the large windows and the balcony, as well as highly functional interior spaces with sparse ornamentation and a focus on intelligent materials.
I like modern colours like white and grey.

  • Fantastic holiday!!

When we arrived dona Eva, the owner and Mirian, her daughter who rents the appartment for her gave us a very warm welcome. They gave us various tips about restaurants and other highlights nearby. Both Mirian and Eva are fluent in English. The house is big, comfortable and cosy. Five minutes after arrival our 6 year old son was swimming in the pool. The house is extremely well situated in a quiet and safe neighbourhood around 300 meters from the Pernambuco beach, the upper class Jequiti shopping mall, the Sofitel hotel, and the Pao de Azucar supermarket. Everything within 5 minutes walking!! Pernambuco beach is a very beautiful but not over crowded beach like the Enseada and Pitangueiras beach closeby. We only visited the Enseada and Pitangueiras beach twice in the evening for dinner as the are packed with reastaurants and bars whith live music, also on the beach.

The house has 3 very large and 1 small suites with airconditioning, which is pleasant as temperatures can stay above 25 degrees at some nights. Furthermore Fafa and Jailson, the cleaning lady and her husband live in a small house on the back of the land lot. Fafa cleans the house daily and Jailson takes care of the pool. They are both wonderful people and helped us a lot during our stay. Fafa served an excellent breakfast with various types of natural juices and did some babysitting and Jailson prepared a great Barbeque twice. If you prefer your privacy however, you can indicate it to Eva and Mirian, and they will make sure that it is guaranteed.

In short, we had our dream holiday and will definately be back.

  • We stayed in the house for almost 3 weeks and it is very clean and located in a safe and friendly area only a few 100 meters from the beach. The house it self, is very nice with room for a large family. We enjoyed playing football with the kids in the big backyard and lounging and relaxing by the pool. The beach is very beautiful and very children friendly with many meters of shallow water before the big waves hit - perfect for playing with kids. The house is approx. 2,5 kilometers away from supermarked and restaurants, so you will need a car.

We can highly recommend this house for vacation, but if you value privacy, then you most know that the owner has staff (cleaning and pool-man) that have access to the house.
