This sunny, cozy, recently remodeled condominium studio is on a high floor in the Hawaiian Monarch, with gorgeous view of the city, mountain, ocean & surf. This Non-smoking private studio has two twin size beds (and an optional twin size air mattress) with its own entrance, bathroom & shower.

Excellent skyline view and location! You are close to the beach. Watch outrigger paddlers rowing on the Ala Wai Canal and checkout the waves before heading out for a surf session, this is a central location to plan out your day. Walking distance to Ala Moana Mall and the Convention Center. Surfing and Waikiki Beach are all within a 10 minute walk. Waikiki Fireworks every Friday at the Hilton Hawaii Lagoon. Biking distance to Diamond Head hike & lookout, Manoa Falls, Honolulu Zoo, Waikiki Aquarium, Hawaii Nature Center and more...
Access to transportation is convieniently located. Smart Car, motorcycle, bicycle, scooter rental is available in the lobby, including tour bus pickups. Door-to-door airport shuttle drop-off/pickup from lobby. Taxi to HNL Airport 20 minutes. TheBus city bus route 19/20 to Airport. Parking in the building is $20/24 hours, cash only.
Other Things to Note
Checkin is 3pm and checkout is 11am. You may request an early checkin or late checkout, approval based on availability, see house rules for extended stay rates.
TAX & FEES INDLUDED: All bookings are subject to 9.25% Hawaii Hotel Tax and 4.712% Hawaii General Excise Tax. It's included with this reservation, while other hosts may charge you extra tax and cleaning fees.
IDENTIFICATION: For your security, guest is required to present a government-issued photo ID and the reservation confirmation during checkin before keys are provided.
HOUSEKEEPING: There is no daily housekeeping service as it is privately managed. Upon checkout please clean and dry your dishes and take your trash out to the trash room, there is one on every floor.
LINENS & LAUNDRY: We strive to provide plush linens and towels that are clean and white with no stains. Oddly enough this is really hard to do. Please don't use our towels to remove your make-up. If you need disposable towels, please let us know, some will be provided. A replacement fee will be charged for stained towels (e.g. hair dyes, bleaches, make up, dirt, or greasy burnt saucepans). Please bring your own beach towels. We do not permit towels or linens to be taken from the units.
LATE CHECKOUT: Checkout between 11am and 5pm: 50% of the daily rental rate. Checkout beyond 5pm: 100% of the daily rental rate.
FUNCTIONS: Parties and Functions are strictly prohibited. The price charged is for domestic use only and not commercial. Accordingly this rate does not allow for the extra wear associated with functions in terms of cleaning, garbage removal, wear and tear, repairs etc.
NOISE: Please keep noise to a minimum between 10PM and 8AM.
GUESTS: No strangers staying the night.
SMOKING: No smoking. No drugs.
PETS: No pets allowed in or on the property.
BIKES: The building rules does not allow bikes to be taken up the elevators, however bike in travel case is allowed. There are city bike racks near by.
LOST KEY & LOCKOUT: Please return all keys promptly upon checkout. $30 will be deducted from your security deposit for each lost key. Please call to arrange a time to give you a new key.
DEPOSIT: The property should be left in a similar state to its condition on arrival. Deposit is fully refundable, however it may be deducted for excessive mess or repair/replacement for damages to the room or its contents.
RESPONSIBILITY DISCLAIMER: Property owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The guest is responsible for safe-keeping of personal belongings or valuables. Damage, breakages, theft and loss are the tenants responsibility during their stay. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises.

Aloha! I love traveling, and exploring the great outdoors. Whether out on hikes or ocean excursions, the Hawaiian Islands offer tremendous amount of beautiful landscape and biodiversity. After coming to Hawaii for graduate school in biology, I fell in love with the islands immediately. I hope to share my knowledge about this paradise and hope to preserve it for future generations!
